The Illinois Valley Alternative Podcast is back from its short hiatus and ready to rock the Illinois Valley's world. Well, not really. As the title suggests, this week we talk about the birds and the bees. We also spend time venting our frustrations with the NFC title game. Plenty of sillyness along the way plus our favorite podcasts and apps of the week. Rock on.

Welcome to 2011! The Illinois Valley Alternative Podcast is still rocking. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and all that jazz.

This week we run through some of the top 2010 news and sports stories around the Illinois Valley. We also have some fun talking about smartphone apps plus a segment on New Years resolutions.

And a special challenge for all listeners....Can you name the videogame music during our break...? A little hint: its old school.

As the title suggests, this week we got so excited we cranked our voices to 11, and blew out our mics. We apologize for any audio annoyances.

The IV Alternative Podcast is back from a short break and hear to rock your world. Well, at least that is what we keep telling ourselves. This week we touch on a bunch of random topics from the mysterious missing person car crash to the Tron release. We also got some sports talk and more of our favorite podcasts. Lots of other topics to fill in this episode making this our highest topic filled podcast ever!!! Too dramatic?.....Let's Rock!

This week John and Clayton dive into the infamous history of the Ottawa Radium Dial factory and update everyone on some recent related events. We also hear some follow up to John's Christmas light let down. The show finishes off with some "In the News" and some of our favorite podcasts. Rock On.

Episode 11 is here. We were kind of dragging after our long weekend so you will have to excuse our off-the-cuffness. This week we talk about Fishsticks & Milk. Also John tells about his "Old Moment" and a bunch of listener feedback. Rock on.

We made it to our 10th Episode! This week Clayton and John get knee deep in a hunting discussion. John gives his Harry Potter report, and Clayton discusses his vast array of graphic tee's. Plus the big news about the IVpod article in the Ottawa Times. To cap it off there are plenty of random topics as well plus some weird technical difficulties. Rock on.

Episode 9 is LIVE!!! Sorry, there I go again. This week we shot the poop about a bunch of randomness. Clayton divulged his crazy Black Friday experiences, while John explains what keeps him up at night. That and some other fun like Harry Potter and listener feedback. Later.

This week we changed up the format a little bit and discussed a variety of Illinois Valley topics. A little news, a little opinion, and the c-word. Topics included the Peru Pool closing, the election, the Depue boy with the ghost costume, some videogame talk, and plenty of nonsense to fill your day...

This week's show is about the Illinois Valley Vixens Roller Derby League. Since this is our first show about the Vixens, we thought it would be helpful to give everyone some background information on women's flat track racing.
