What a privilege I have to chat with President Donald Trump's national spokesperson for his 2016 Presidential Election and a top level strategist for his 2020 Re-Election Campaign.
Katrina Pierson, who was in Alaska last week for the Anchorage Republican Women's Club Lincoln Day Dinner, is the quintessential American story lived out. Born out of wedlock to a 15 year old mother who chose life for her daughter, Pierson grew up on welfare and gave birth to a child of her own at a young age, raising him as a single mother.
Although she voted for Barack Obama in 2008, her instincts eventually won out as she became an avid Tea Party enthusiast eventually approaching The Donald at a rally and encouraging him to run. She is a force to be reckoned with and for what it's worth, has more than a 1/2 million followers on Twitter.

Bethany Marcum is a long-time friend, avid big game hunter, political strategist and Executive Director of the Alaska Policy Forum. Now, more than ever, we need intellectual energy applied to make our great state more efficient, effective and liberty-minded.
That's what the Alaska Policy Forum is all about. Bethany is an incredible asset to the Great Land. I hope you can tune in.

Webster's defines firebrand as "a person who is passionate about a particular cause, typically inciting change and taking radical action."
Out of everyone I've known and worked with in the conservative movement in Alaska, I can think of nobody who fits that description more than my good friend Judy Eledge. As President of the Anchorage Republican Women's Club and now working with the Dunleavy Administration on childhood literacy in Alaska, Judy is as staunchly pro-life and pro-family as she is Republican.
She understands and is guided by the issues that matter most. And she is an absolute hoot ! I hope you'll join me today and come to appreciate her Texas charm and energy many of us have loved for a long time.

Ever since we started this program, I have wanted to chat with my good friend Portia Noble on the show. Today is that day. Portia is a razor sharp, kind-hearted staff member of Americans for Prosperity Alaska and as most people in political circles know, is over the moon involved in all shapes and sizes of advocacy in the Great Land.
I am blessed to chat with Portia about AFP priorities and her own thoughts on many issues. I hope you can tune in.

Mark Miloscia has been a Republican State Senator, a Democrat State Representative, a B-52 pilot with an Engineering degree from the Air Force Academy. With a Masters in Clinical Psychology and an MBA to boot, he's lobbied for the Washington Catholic Conference, served as a Director for Goodwill Industries and as the Executive Director of Federal Way Youth and Family Services.
So what's he doing as head of a pro-family, pro-life, policy group in one of the most liberal states in America ?
Lots.

I'm honored today to speak with my good friend Glenn Biegel on Family Matters.
Glenn is a long-time radio talk-show host, community activist and political strategist that Alaska is blessed to have as a citizen.
Among other things, we'll talk about how important it is that a shift is occurring within the non-profit world in Alaska that is empowering people to do ministry again. For way too long in this country and state, the Government has been at the forefront of "ministry" when the church and its members have always been much better equipped to address this community challenge.

In Homer, Mark Edens is serious about influencing Government for the good. In fact, as a Pastor at Regent Life Church, his sights are "heavenly" with a community-wide initiative to transform culture and raise up modern-day Daniels at the end of the Kenai Peninsula. We couldn't be more enthusiastic about what he and other Christ followers are doing to influence this area of Alaska for God's glory.
His "Heaven in Government" meetings are bringing churches together to "hone up on local politics, pray for elected officials, network with fellow believers and brainstorm ways to transform their city." You can read more about it at the Alaska Watchman HERE and you can join us today on Family Matters for my interview with Pastor Edens.
