As we move toward the second half of 2025, I’ve been drawn to a moment in Exodus 33 where God tells Moses, “I’m not going with you.” It’s a response to the impatience and misplaced trust of the people in Exodus 32. In the face of delay, they chose control over trust. But Moses responded by setting up his tent outside the camp—a place to meet with God. Inside the camp is where you around human reasoning. Outside the camp is when you come face to face with the reasoning of God

My encouragement to each of us this week is we would be a people that are shaped and formed by God and when necessary set up a place “outside of the camp” to come face to face with Him. Let’s continue to build a house where we meet with God, grow as a dynamic church, and serve humanity—with faith, humility, and expectancy.
