MY IRREGULAR LABYRINTH
Only days ago, in the labyrinth of my life in Christ, I was drawn into a cavernous abyss, a dark cave I have visited too frequently that seemed to swallow all hope and joy. It was as if an unseen force was pulling me deeper into its cold, unforgiving embrace. It paralyzed me and stopped me from conducting ministry for an entire day. I was overwhelmed by the depravity of the human race, particularly self-proclaimed believers. It was one of my more overpowering dark days. The cave, symbolic of my trials, faithlessness, and tribulations, was a place of loneliness and despair, where the demonic darkness of my fears reverberated off the stony walls of my mind.
The darkness was oppressive, a tangible entity that wrapped itself around my mind, seeping into every psychological pore, every crevice of my being. In this profound darkness, I felt my hope in Yeshua wane, my faith tested to its very limits. Yet, it was here, in this desolate cave, that I found the strength to persevere, to endure.
On the night of this grievous day, I had a dream. Couched in this dream was an adversary attempting to bring me down in front of a large audience. He was masterful in his ploy, but the crowd saw through his intensions. After being ushered to the “green room” for my break, he followed me. I fronted him inches from his face - he became translucent. I spoke despite this trick. I condemned him in the name of Jesus. The angel that was sent to protect me ushered him to a dark place in chains. Then the Lord awakened me with these words, “There is no power of darkness you cannot overpower. Well done my faithful servant.”
After this victorious dream, just when the darkness seemed insurmountable, a glimmer of light pierced through the obsidian cave. It was the Light of Yeshua, a radiant hope in the overwhelming darkness. This divine light, radiant and pure, shattered the chains of despair, illuminating the path toward redemption.
Bursting forth from the cave, I was bathed in the glorious light of Yeshua. It was a moment of renewal, a testament to the transformative power of the indwelling Life of Yeshua. The darkness had been vanquished, replaced by the comforting warmth of Yeshua's love. It was a journey from despair to hope, from darkness to light, a testament to the enduring power of renewal and the redeeming love of Yeshua.
As I sat at my desk preparing for a full day of ministry, the Lord spoke these words over me:
Stephen, I have called you to proclaim My prophecies to the people. I want you to set aside one full month to remind our readers of the importance of My existing victory. The world, including your country, will soon face the darkness of My enemy in a manner no human has experienced before. Stephen, we must exhort them with My everlasting hope, love, and kindness amid the darkness that is soon to overwhelm the world. Do this now in and through My Son.
The Lord might not speak to you like this; I hope He does. However, I am relentless in carrying forward His commands. I believe 2025 will bring a level of darkness the world has not seen since the creation of humanity. In believing this, I will be dedicating the month of August to posts and media that reminds authentic believers of Yeshua’s preexisting victory, which He desires to share with each of His Bridal members. Today is the first entry. I will post these encouragements as often as the Lord gives them to me.
VICTORY IN YESHUA
The life of an authentic believer is a journey filled with darkness and light, a spiritual voyage marked by trials, tribulations, and triumphs. At the heart of this journey is the indwelling life of Yeshua, a Holy and Divine presence via the Holy Spirit, who guides us out of caves of darkness, nurturing us in times of despair, and empowers each of us to walk out of those dark moments or days.
The indwelling life of Yeshua is the cornerstone of a believer's mind. It is the spiritual compass that directs us inward to His righteous thoughts, the brilliant light of His Life that illuminates our path in the darkest of times. His divine presence within us is not merely a passive observer but an active participant in our spiritual recovery in dark places.
The victory of a believer lies in recognizing and embracing His indwelling life.
It is surrendering to Yeshua's will, allowing His inward thoughts to shape our thoughts, actions, and interactions. This surrender is not a sign of weakness but a testament to our strength and immovable beliefs. It is a conscious choice to let go of our pride, desires, darkness, and fears and to let Yeshua live out His life within our frail humanity—flesh.
Indwelling victory is not a one-time event, but a continuous process. It is a daily battle against our human frailties, against the temptations of the world. Yet, with Yeshua dwelling within us, we are not alone in this battle - for it is HIS battle. A battle I might add that has already been won. His presence gives us the strength to overcome, the wisdom to choose righteousness over dark temptations, and the courage to stand firm amid the wars He allows in our daily lives, culture, and domestic environment.
The indwelling life of Yeshua is our shield in adversity, our comfort in sorrow, and our joy in victory. It is the wellspring of everlasting love, peace, and hope in our inner being - despite our circumstances. As believers, our victory lies not in the Lord removing the darkness, but in the transformative power of Yeshua's indwelling Life being revealed in IT. It is a victory of the Holy Spirit, a testament to the enduring power of Yeshua, and a celebration of the divine reality that His LIFE indeed dwells within us.
If under conviction to become indwelt by Yeshua, pray this prayer HERE.
Until next time, Stephen.

In humanity’s existence, there emerges a figure of unparalleled love and divine majesty - Yeshua, our beloved King and eternal Groom. His presence is not merely a historical event, but a living reality, a spiritual union for all those who receive Him as indwelling Life that goes beyond intellectual logic.
Yeshua, the Hebrew name for Jesus, means “God saves.” As our King, He rules with justice and righteousness, His laws are written on our hearts, and His eternal reign is marked by unfailing love and commitment. He is not a distant monarch, but a close and personal Groom, intimately involved in the details of those who have received Him.
Yet, Yeshua is not only our King but also our eternal Groom. This doctrine is deeply rooted in the Scriptures, portraying the profound spiritual relationship between Christ and His Church. The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:25-27, “Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy… to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
This divine romance is not based on fleeting emotions but on a God sized everlasting covenant. It is a love story that began before the foundation of the world and will continue throughout eternity. As our eternal Groom, Yeshua cherishes us, nurtures us, and showers us with unconditional love. He invites us into a deep, personal relationship with Him, a spiritual union that reflects the intimacy, commitment, and self-sacrifice of a marital covenant, that is manifested from the inside out once saved.
In the presence of Yeshua, our beloved King and eternal Groom, we find our true identity and purpose. We are not merely subjects in His kingdom or beneficiaries of His sacrificial love; we are His cherished bride, destined to reign with Him as His queen forever in His eternal Kingdom. This is the glorious hope that inspires our intimacy with Him, fuels our love, and anchors our souls in the midst of life’s storms.
In the embrace of our beloved King and eternal Groom, we find a love that is stronger than death, a joy that surpasses all understanding, and a peace that rises above all circumstances. In Yeshua, we find our heart’s true love-life.
The King of Kings
In the vast expanse of all of our human relationships, one figure stands out as the ultimate invite to intimacy - Jesus Christ, the King of kings. His reign is not only one of earthly power or dominion, but of spiritual authority and eternal significance that will be matriculated throughout eternity.
Prophetic Declaration
The title “King of kings” is not a human invention but a divine proclamation. In the book of Revelation, John the Apostle writes, “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16). This title signifies Jesus’ supreme authority over all earthly and heavenly rulers.
His Nature of Kingship
Jesus’ kingship is unique. Unlike earthly kings who rule by force or inheritance, Jesus rules through love and sacrifice by and through the inheritance His Father imparted. His coronation did not occur in a palace, but on a cross. He did not wear a crown of gold, but a crown of thorns. His scepter was not one of gold, but a rugged wooden cross. This is the paradox of Jesus’ kingship - it is a reign marked by humility, service, and sacrificial love & leadership.
The Kingdom of God
Jesus’ primary mission was to inaugurate the Kingdom of God. He said, “The time has come… The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15). The Kingdom of God is not only a physical territory, but a spiritual reality. It is the realm where God’s will be done perfectly, and Jesus, the King of kings, reigns supreme. Shortly after He ends the reign of the Antichrist, He will bring His Kingdom to earth and rule for 1,000 years. Once this phase is closed on humanity’s side, He will rule the New Heaven and Earth for eternity.
Call to Allegiance
As the King of kings, Jesus calls us to pledge our allegiance to Him as our Groom. This is not a call to a burdensome obedience, but to a liberating intimate relationship with Him through submission. Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). To submit to Jesus’ kingship is to enter into a life of victorious Christian living through releasing the Holy Spirit within us.
Reigning With Him Eternally
Jesus’ reign as the King of kings is not temporary but eternal. His kingdom will have no end. The prophet Daniel wrote, “His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed” (Daniel 7:14). As the King of kings, Jesus offers us the hope of an eternal kingdom where His Bride will reign with Him as intimate partners throughout eternity.
Yeshua/Jesus, the King of kings, is the ultimate sovereign ruler of the universe and beyond. His reign is marked by love, sacrifice, and a reflective obedience He has with His Father. As we submit to His kingship, we find true freedom, purpose AND identity. In the words of the hymn writer, “Crown Him the Lord of lords, who over all doth reign, who once on earth, the incarnate Word, for ransomed sinners slain, now lives in realms of light, where saints with angels sing their songs before Him day and night, their God, Redeemer, King.”

Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross for humanity's sins, was sent by God the Father to save mankind from themselves and the dark enemy of the Living God, while offering us a new identity.
Through the Veil is a docudrama revealing Christ, who suffered and died to tear His flesh, and the Veil makes way for each of His sheep to follow Him through that very Veil who is Christ - into the Holiest place of God, where The Life, Christ’s Life Eternal, is to be lived on earth as it is in heaven for all authentic believers.
A dear friend approached me asking if I would help her produce a short film revealing the story of The Veil, which was torn, for the believer’s passage to God the Father through Christ. It took all but a few minutes to decide to assist her in this endeavor. We hope you enjoy this featured docudrama.
The veil in the Tabernacle, and later in the Temple, played a significant role in the religious practices of the Israelites. Here’s a brief overview of its history and significance:
Placement and Description: The veil, made of fine-twined linen with images of cherubim, was placed strategically in the Tabernacle. It divided the inside of the Tabernacle into two rooms: the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. The veil hung from gold hooks supported by four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold anchored into four sockets of silver.
Symbol of Separation: The veil served as a barrier between God and man, shutting God in and man out. It symbolized the profound separation between a holy God and sinful humanity, highlighted by the physical barrier that the Veil created within the Tabernacle.
Access to Worship: The curtains permitted access to worship after the priest had met the required conditions outlined in the Mosaic Law. Only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies once a year on the Day of Atonement to offer blood upon the mercy seat for his and the people’s sins.
Significance in Christianity: In Christian theology, the tearing of the veil at the moment of Jesus’ death symbolized the removal of the separation between God and humanity. It signified that through Jesus’ sacrifice, all people could have direct access to God.
This is a brief summary, and the veil’s significance is deeply rooted in the theological and historical context of the Bible and the indwelling Life of Jesus Christ, who lives within all authentic believers.
INDWELLING MEANING
This is the very reason Jesus Christ came to the earth. He came to give each person Life! His Life!
For God gave His Life for us, to give His Life to us, to live His Life through us. In the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed once a year on the Day of Atonement, their blood sprinkled on the east side of the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant, found in the place of the Holy of Holies. With the coming of Christ, old things passed away, and all things became new.
The outpouring of the blood of the Lamb of God had to occur before the outpouring of the Spirit could be Bestowed.
The blood of Christ had to be shed… for sin to be forgiven… once and for all.
During the Babylonian siege over Jerusalem in 586 BC, the Prophet Jeremiah hid the Ark of the Covenant in his cave. Some 619 years later, its position was exactly under the crucifixion site of Jesus Christ. Upon His death, two things happened: an earthquake tore the ground below, and a spear was plunged into the left side of Christ, where water and blood poured out. Draining from the body of Christ, His precious blood made its way down the crosspost and into the ground below.
Each purchased believer was made a brand-new creation; each person was given a new spirit, the Holy Spirit, alive to God, which is Jesus’s Spirit, and where Christ unites Himself. In this reality, the believer is indwelt by the very Life of Christ.
Each purchased one is now hidden in Him, at the right-hand side of God, with the freedom to experience an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God the Father.
Eternal Life is not something that begins when we become a Christians. It is something we entered and which we become a partaker at the moment of salvation. It is receiving a new life altogether- Christ’s Life.
By the Power of the Blood of Christ, each born-again believer is redeemed, raised up, sanctified, seated in the Holiest, and continually cleansed. God asks each indwelt believer, purchased by the blood of Jesus, to abide, to rest in Christ, and receive the Truth of one’s identity, moment by moment, for each moment has the Power of eternity. The ‘Doing’ or walking in the Spirit soon follows when a believer walks in the Spirit. In this, we discover the purpose of “being” to do – to stand victorious over the temptations and assaults of the enemy.
With a continual reckoning of one’s identity in Christ and the reality of the continual effects of the Blood of Christ, the Law of the Spirit of Christ will be released through each believer, setting each free from the battle in the mind, free from the bondage of the law of sin and death - where the enemy’s temptations ensnare.
Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross for humanity's sins, was sent by God the Father to save mankind from themselves and the dark enemy of the Living God.
Jesus is requesting your attention.
He was sent to the earth through a virgin’s birth, by the seed of God the Father – by the Holy Spirit. He is the Son of God.
Earthly parents raised Jesus. He taught the Jewish theologians at the age of twelve.
Baptized by John before entering the ministry. Filled with the Holy Spirit at the moment of coming out of the water and was sent into His ministry that would ultimately require Him to give His Life on the Cross for all future generations.
He conducted The Last Supper with His disciples, explaining why He must die, be buried, and be resurrected from the Tomb.
While on the Cross, He bled out as a payment for humanity’s sins. As soon as He took His last breath, the Veil separating the Holy of Hollies from humans was torn from the top to the bottom – symbolizing all those who come unto Him shall pass through the Veil to have indwelling Life with Jesus Himself.
Then, the stone rolled away. Releasing the resurrected Life of Christ for eternities forever.
Christ, who suffered and died to tear His flesh and the Veil, makes way for each of His sheep to be indwelt by Him and follow Him through that very Veil who is Christ - into the Holiest place of God, where The Life, Christ’s Life Eternal, is to be lived on earth as it is in heaven.

I did not know Billy Graham personally, but my mentor was a friend of his. He spoke highly of Mr. Graham, as did most Christian leaders. He had few enemies and was respected by world leaders far and wide. At the point of his death, it is estimated that less than 2% of the world’s population didn’t know of his name and or of his evangelistic passion and most of those were children.
"There comes a moment when we all must realize that life is short, and in the end the only thing that really counts is not how others see us, but how God sees us."
Dr. Graham was the son of a prosperous dairy farmer, Billy grew up in rural North Carolina. In 1934, he underwent a conversion to the indwelling Life of Christ at a revival meeting led by the evangelist Mordecai Ham and professed his “decision for Christ.” This marked the beginning of his journey of living out the Life of Jesus, leading him to become one of the most influential Christian leaders of the 20th century, if not in world history.
"If Christianity is valid, why is there so much evil in the world? With so much soap, why are there so many dirty people in the world? Christianity, like soap, must be personally applied if it is to make a difference in our lives.”
Dr. Graham attended Bob Jones College, Florida Bible Institute (now Trinity College), and Wheaton College. His studies were dedicated to the ideology of soap - leading people to the eternal source of cleansing of their sins through Jesus Christ. He was ordained as a minister by the Southern Baptist Convention. His education played a crucial role in shaping his preaching style—a simple, direct message of sin and salvation that he delivered energetically and without condescension, with a special emphasis on what people can be in Christ.
"There are three of you. There is the person you think you are. There is the person others think you are. There is the person God knows you are and can be through Christ."
Billy became known for filling stadiums and other massive venues around the world where he preached live sermons. These were often broadcast via radio and/or television, with some continuing to be seen into the 21st century. However, he was not one to be caught up in fame. He was known for saying I am just an ordinary messenger of the Kingdom of God. He remained approachable until the day of his death. Who, by the way, was buried in a gold sprayed pine box casket made by Christians in prison - a casket crafted by inmates at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, Louisiana. His legacy of humility, character and faith in Christ has become a roadmap to millions globally.
"The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one’s life, but rather a legacy of character and faith."
Dr. Graham openly repudiated racial segregation at a time of intense racial strife in the United States, insisting on racial integration for all of his revivals and crusades, as early as 1953. He also invited Martin Luther King Jr. to preach jointly at a revival in New York City in 1957. His advocacy for viewing humanity through the eyes of God, which placed him in the highest offices of governance, motivate both political and religious leaders. He was devoted to not only living out the teachings of Christ, but he hosted a relentless passion to release Christ to work through him.
"Our world is obsessed with success. But how does God define success? Success in God’s eyes is faithfulness to His calling."
His success by the standards of the world was beyond the measurements of humanity. By the time he passed away on February 21, 2018, his legacy for those that knew him, was not one of fame, but a testament to the power of faith in Christ, the importance of integrity, and the transformative power of the indwelling Gospel of Jesus’s Life. Even with those who acquired worldly fame, he was known for demonstrating the enduring love and grace of His Savior - Jesus.
"A great man, a humble servant, and a shepherd to millions has passed on. Billy Graham was a consequential leader. He had a powerful, captivating presence and a keen mind. He was full of kindness and grace." - President George W. Bush
George W. Bush, as well as his family, were influenced through Mr. Graham significantly. During the dark period of George’s life when he was questioning the existence of God, Mr. Graham paid a personal visit to their home. Before the evening concluded, Billy led the soon to be President back into the fold of authentic salvation in Christ. I not only had the privilege of hearing this story firsthand, but I was also honored to serve President Bush for five years under the banner of the Faith-Based Initiative. In fact, many of my views regarding faith and politics comes from this relationship.
"I believe that every problem facing us as Americans is basically a spiritual problem. Crime is a spiritual problem. Inflation is a spiritual problem. Corruption is a spiritual problem. Social injustice is a spiritual problem. The lack of will even to defend our freedoms is a spiritual problem."
Yes, Billy Graham said these words. He once said a few words that impact my daily focus on defending America, "I would challenge every deeply committed American who is qualified to think about running for political office. I do not believe that we as Christians should withdraw. We need men and women of integrity and Christian commitment who will run for political office.” I took those words to heart. I accepted that challenge. While I am no politician, those that know me and my writings, watch our productions, know this, I will defend America and its roots to my last breath.
"The word politics has a wider meaning than merely a political party or party platform. Politics affects community life—our towns, our cities, our states and our country. Churches filled with Christians have a right to be concerned about where politics takes our nation."
Like most, I respect the life and works of Christ in Billy Graham as an evangelist. However, as for me, he was much more than an evangelist. Dr. Graham was a man that understood the importance of NOT separating the Gospel from politics, power and privilege. For him, it was all under the banner of a sovereign God reaching out to humanity who desperately needed a King of kings.
No question, Billy Graham’s life was a radiant light of authentic faith in Christ, illuminating the path for countless individuals seeking the indwelling Life of Jesus Christ. His legacy serves as a powerful reminder of the impact one person can have when they dedicate their life to first releasing the actual Life of Christ from within, and then serving others through the mission God has appointed to each of His children. His life story is not just a biography of a great man, but a testament to the transformative power of a faithful servant in action and deeds.
Mr. Graham, welcome to my wall of heroes.

Amid trials and tribulations, God’s love remains a steadfast source of indwelling hope. It is a divine assurance that we are not alone even in our darkest hours. His love is a testament to His promise that He works all things for good for those who love Him - indwelt by Him. In these challenging times, God’s love shines the brightest, guiding us, strengthening us, and molding us into the image of Christ. For His love is not a mere feeling but an unchanging truth that stands firm against all adversities. So, let us take heart, for God’s love is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
There is a massive difference between the present tribulations of a believer and that which is approaching for those left behind after the Rapture - which is called the Tribulation of the Antichrist. Even though humans stuck under his seven-year reign will suffer along with him, God intends to inflict Satan, his Antichrist, the False Prophet, demons, and sadly, all those that follow their depraved kingdom, with the horrid tribulations noted in all the books of prophecies. There are no words to describe the tribulation God releases upon each of the left behind.
As believers, we are driven by a profound passion to guide unsaved souls toward the path of salvation. This passion stems from our deep-rooted love for God and our fellow humans. We understand the urgency of the times, knowing that the Lord’s Rapture could happen at any moment. Therefore, we release the Life of Christ within us to share the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. We want every soul to experience the transformative power of God’s love and grace and be ready for the Lord’s return. There is no greater joy than witnessing a lost soul find its way back to the Father’s embrace. Even though few will listen and convert, this should be our mission, calling, and heart’s deepest desire.
Believe it or not, tribulations are for refinement.
They are an act of the Lord’s love for His Bride. However, the Great Tribulation switches to punishment. New Testament tribulations are for discipline for love's sake. Old Testament-style tribulations are punishment. The End Times tribulations are the Old Testament style of punishment WITH the addition of judgment. This, too, is an act of love for His Bride - by punishing the dark forces and all those who insulted His Bride and the pure bloodline Jews since the day of Jesus’s resurrection.
The Bible prophesies that Jesus Christ will return for His Bride, the Church, in an event known as the Rapture. This event is characterized by the sudden and miraculous taking up of all indwelt believers in Christ to meet Him in the air. It is widely believed among many Christians that this event will occur before the rise of the Antichrist and the onset of the Tribulation. The Rapture serves as a rescue for believers, a divine assurance that they will be spared from the wrath to come during Satan’s Tribulation. It underscores the promise of Jesus in John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” Thus, the anticipation of the Rapture fuels the believer’s passion to lead as many souls to Christ as possible, knowing that the time is short. If “believers” do not have such a passion, their “type” of salvation must be questioned.
The Coming Tribulation of the Antichrist:
The Bible, particularly in the New Testament’s Book of Revelation, prophesies a period of severe hardship and divine judgment known as the Tribulation. This period is characterized by catastrophic events such as widespread wars, devastating natural disasters, famines, and plagues. Central to this prophecy is the figure of the Antichrist, who will rise up to unite the world under one government during the Tribulation. This “leader” will be the most powerful “human” on the face of the planet. Some refer to him as the coming “World Chancellor.”
The Antichrist: Deceiver and Dictator
The Antichrist is described as a person who is against Yeshua, Jesus Christ. The prefix ‘anti’ can also mean “instead of,” and both meanings will apply to this coming world leader. He aims to replace the real Jesus Christ with himself AS the “Christ” to the world. “Christ” means messiah, head leader, or divine ruler of eternity. He will overtly oppose Jesus Christ in all of his decisions and, at the same time, pass himself off as the world’s Christ. The Antichrist will aggressively live up to his terrible name. He will persecute, torture, and kill the people who resist him as “Christ.” He leads the armies of the world into the Battle of Armageddon - the final battle between the authentic God of the Hebrew people and the Antichrist’s world forces. He will be the most powerful dictator the world has ever seen, making Caesar, Hitler, Mao, and Saddam seem tame by comparison.
The Antichrist’s Rise to Power
The Antichrist will rise to power through deception. He will pose as an angel of light, just like his father, the devil, but later act out of his true, evil nature. The Tribulation period begins peacefully for three and a half years, with the Antichrist deceiving people because he brings global peace temporarily. In fact, the Bible says through peace, he will deceive many - with the primary goal of deceiving the Jews. When he comes on the scene, people will flock to him like flies to honey, and they will do anything he asks, including the Jews.
The Antichrist’s Blasphemous Acts
The Antichrist will be renowned for his eloquence, which will capture the attention and admiration of the world through his charm and beauty. Not only will this golden–tongued orator speak in high–blown terms, but he will also speak arrogantly against the God of the Hebrews. The apostle John describes him similarly in Revelation: “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies” (Revelation 13:5).
The End of the Tribulation
The Tribulation period culminates in the Battle of Armageddon, fought at the end of the Tribulation period, and then comes the Second Coming of Jesus Christ3. The Antichrist’s reign of terror will end, and Christ will establish His kingdom on earth.
The coming Tribulation of the Antichrist is a significant event prophesied in the Bible. It serves as a reminder of the spiritual battle between God and the devil and the ultimate victory of Jesus Christ. As believers, we are called to remain steadfast in our faith, knowing that our redemption comes only through Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world.

The “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” also known as “Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory” outside of the United States, is a song with a rich and fascinating history. It was written during a turbulent time in American history, the Civil War, and has since become an enduring symbol of American patriotism.
The History of the Song
The song was written by Julia Ward Howe, an abolitionist writer, in 1861. Howe was deeply anguished by the growing conflict between the Northern and Southern states. During a visit to an army camp near Washington, D.C., she heard soldiers singing “John Brown’s Body,” a song about a man who had been hanged in his efforts to free the slaves.
Inspired by the tune but feeling that it deserved better words, Howe set about writing her own lyrics. She "scrawled the verses almost without looking at the paper." The result was a powerful and moving hymn that linked the Union cause with God’s vengeance at the Day of Judgment.
Publication and Reception
Howe’s “Battle Hymn of the Republic” was first published in The Atlantic Monthly in February 1862. The song quickly caught on and became the semi-official Civil War song of the Union Army. Howe’s stirring lyrics and the catchy tune made the song a favorite among the troops and helped to boost morale.
The song also found favor with President Abraham Lincoln. At a large rally, after the song was sung as a solo and the audience responded with loud applause, Lincoln, with tears in his eyes, cried out, "Sing it again!"
The Song’s Legacy
More than a century later, the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” remains one of America’s most iconic patriotic songs. Its powerful lyrics continue to inspire and its melody is instantly recognizable. The song is a testament to the enduring power of music and the role it can play in shaping and reflecting historical events, such as the sacrifice many have made for the United States.
The “Battle Hymn of the Republic” is more than just a song. It is a piece of American history, a symbol of a nation’s struggle for unity and freedom, and a testament to the power of faith in Christ and America’s endurance.

As a Biblical patriot deeply in love with the United States, I find myself overwhelmed with a sense of joy and gratitude every time Independence Day rolls around. The Fourth of July is more than just a date on the calendar for me. It’s a symbol of the spiritual courage, determination, and unity that led to the birth of this great nation.
My wife and I live in a community known for its festive July 4th celebration —a parade, booths, and a statewide reputation for one of the best fireworks displays over our town’s lake. Red, white, and blue scream out at every turn. Our community honors the sacrifice our forefathers made to establish our nation’s freedoms. There is a good reason our town is listed as one of the top ten Main Streets in America.
The United States, to me, is a land of opportunity, freedom, and spiritual safety. It’s a place where dreams can become reality, where hard work is rewarded, and where everyone, regardless of their background, has the chance to succeed. The life principles that this country was built upon resonate deeply within me, and I am honored to call myself an American.
Independence Day poignantly reminds us of the sacrifices made by countless individuals in the pursuit of freedom and democracy. The fireworks that light up the sky on the Fourth of July are not just a spectacle of color and sound but a tribute to the resilience and spirit of the American people. It is our reminder of our spiritual heritage.
Every Independence Day, I take a moment to reflect on what it means to be a born-again American. I think about the spiritual freedoms I enjoy, the opportunities I have been given, and the beloved community I am a part of. I feel a surge of gratitude for those who fought for these privileges and a sense of responsibility to contribute to the ongoing effort to uphold the sacrifices our patriots fought for.
My love for the United States and the celebration of Independence Day is rooted in a deep appreciation for the ideals of freedom, opportunity, and unity that this country represents. As I watch the sparkle of loyalty diminish in society, when the fireworks light up the sky on the Fourth of July, I am reminded of the beauty of this nation and the spirit of its people. And I can’t help but feel a profound sense of love and honor.
The Fourth of July, or Independence Day, is a significant day in the history of the United States. It’s a day of everlasting joy, gratitude, and deep reflection on the Word of God that underpins the nation. From a Christian perspective, this day can be seen as a celebration of freedom, not only in a political sense but also in a spiritual one.
The Indwelling Christian Concept of Freedom
In the Christian worldview, freedom has a profound and multifaceted meaning. It’s not just about political and social liberties but also about the spiritual freedom that comes from faith in Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:1 says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” This spiritual freedom, the freedom from sin and death, is a cause for celebration every day, not just on Independence Day.
Gratitude and Thanksgiving in Christ
Independence Day is a time for Christians to express gratitude. First and foremost, gratitude to God for the gift of freedom. Psalm 118:21 reads, “I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.” As Christians celebrate Independence Day, they can use this time to reflect on the blessings they’ve received and express their gratitude to God, through Christ and through His indwelling presence.
Prayers for the Nation
Independence Day is also a time for Christians to pray for their country. They can pray for wisdom for its leaders, for unity among its people, salvation for the lost, and for peace within its borders. As instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
A Call to Love and Unity
The Fourth of July can serve as a reminder of the Christian call to love one’s neighbor. In a country as diverse as the United States, Independence Day is a celebration of unity for all authentic believers. Christians can take this opportunity to show love to their neighbors, regardless of their race, religion, or background, following the commandment in Mark 12:31, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Reflection on Responsibility
Finally, Independence Day can be a time for Christians to reflect on their responsibilities as citizens. They are called not only to enjoy their freedom but also to serve others and work for justice. As it says in Galatians 5:13, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”
From a Christian perspective, the Fourth of July is not just a celebration of political freedom. It’s a celebration of spiritual freedom, a time for gratitude, prayer, love, unity, and reflection on responsibility. It’s a day to remember that true freedom comes from God in Christ Jesus and to commit to using that freedom in service and leading others to the indwelling Life.
Blessed Fourth of July!

It was July, 2010, our first summer in Kansas. The house we were renting had a massive yard & I’d just finished mowing and weed eating. All total, that was 4 hours of work in picky humidity. My Honey wasn’t home & my daughter was doing ministry bookwork in the basement. As per my husband’s instructions, I had hosed off the mower & was returning it to its resting place in the single garage/storage shed in our backyard. That’s when it happened.
PICKIN’ MULBERRIES
As I was pulling down the rolling door, the three middle fingers on my right hand got pinched between 2 of the door sections. Instant pain left me gasping. “Oh God…HELP!” No one could’ve heard me, because of the wind, if I had tried to scream. In less than 5 seconds, I had the door back up. But as the blood rushed to my three fingertips, I felt like I was in “orbit.” Throbbing, pulsating, needle-pricking sensations that took my breath away quickened my return to the house, where I grabbed a soft ice pack from the freezer. As I wrapped my hand & yelled for my daughter, I rocked back & forth on the chair while frantically repeating “Talk to me, Jess! Just talk to me!” The ice, though necessary, felt excruciating. I felt like I was losing it!
About 30 minutes later, it dawned on me what had happened, versus what could have happened. Normally, that garage door automatically locked from the outside. But this time, when I pulled it down, it landed on the back tire of our Radio Flyer tricycle, inadvertently parked in the wrong spot by the last rider. Judging from how much pain I was feeling at this point, I physically shuddered at the mental picture of the door…locked, with my fingers between the sections. As it was, my fingertips were purple & black to the base of my nail beds. They were swollen, & so sensitive that any slight contact left me sucking in air. When my granddaughter saw my hand, she said, “Wow, Oma! It looks like you’ve been pickin’ mulberries.” (Another lesson about fruit stains, discovered earlier in the summer.) It took a long time for the waves of pain to cease. Since I’m right-handed, I had to write using my thumb & pinky finger…interesting! It was all of 6 months before the discoloration was completely gone & my nails had grown out. To this day, the tip of my middle finger curves up & the nail has an indentation…somewhat akin to the look of an elf slipper!
I’ve gleaned a couple of spiritual reminders from that experience. I might even go so far as to call that day a “marker” of sorts. First of all, I thank God for His sovereign care that day. Yes, I’m saying that the tricycle was out of place for a reason. As the Creator, it’s obvious to me that God is detailed. I think we often rationalize away much of His divine intervention/protection/provision as merely coincidence. We want to be in control &, sometimes, we want to take the credit. He is not a hit-or-miss type of Father. He is intentional. He knows, He sees, He cares…ABOUT ALL OF IT. However, is He obligated to give us an explanation, just because He sees the bigger picture? NO. (See Job 40:1-5; Isaiah 30:30a; 40:21-31; & Romans 11:33-36) Secondly, seemingly small decisions can alter your life. That’s true for positive, obedient choices & also for sinful, defiant responses. Either way, a chain of events or consequences can be set in motion that will change your life on earth, sometimes for just a little while, or maybe for eternity. Every moment counts & you don’t ever get that time back. I thought about this frequently, as I had to constantly adjust my hand motions to avoid nerve pain in my fingers.
Every decision, seen or unseen by people (but always by God), affects someone, somewhere, to some degree. As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we don’t get to do whatever we want. Because we are not our own. God’s reputation & His glory are at stake. We have a responsibility as image-bearers of the King of Kings. From where I sit, life is short. And getting shorter…by the day. Don’t be so foolish as to take anything, or anyone, for granted. (Matthew 5:16; Colossians 3:25; I Corinthians 6:19&20; 10:23&24; James 4:17)

Dear IOM America Donors & Prayer Partners,
Jane & I hope this letter finds you resting in Christ and growing in your dependence on Him. We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to our mission.
In the midst of the tumultuous sea of our Lord's End Times, we find ourselves adrift, witnessing a world that seems to mirror the foreboding descriptions of the Biblical End Times. The escalating conflicts, the widespread suffering, the climate change of natural disasters, the relentless pursuit of power and wealth, and the growing disregard for the sanctity of the Life of Christ - all these are stark reminders of the prophetic words in the Bible. As we navigate through these challenging times, it is crucial to remember the promise of hope and redemption that lies beyond this period of tribulation, as foretold in the Scriptures.
In these challenging times, the ministry of IOM America stands as a portal of hope and encouragement. Rooted in the teachings of the Bible, our mission is to provide Biblical logic, inspiration, and support to those who are grappling with the complexities of our world. We are committed to walking alongside you, offering Biblical wisdom and practical resources to navigate through these trials. Remember, you are not alone in your journey. We are here to uplift, inspire, and strengthen your faith as we traverse these difficult times together.
In the light of the Scriptures, we see that the world’s one-world political system is not immune to the fallen nature of humanity. The prophecies of the Lord warn us of an Antichrist soon to come. We see the birth pangs of his arrival in the news every day. As it is written in 1 John 5:19, “We know that we are children of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” This verse reminds us that the turmoil and chaos we witness in the political landscape are part of a larger spiritual battle. However, we take heart in the sovereignty of God, knowing that ultimately, His justice will prevail, and His kingdom WILL be established.
I received a Word of Knowledge from the Lord, 820 words to be exact, but I want to share one of the alarming paragraphs with you.
Open your eyes, Stephen. Look to the east. My enemies are descending upon My land. Wars and rumors of wars are fronting them on every side. Go forth today and proclaim the hearings of My voice to the people who reject My people, Israel. Shout to them how they have lost the loyalty of My faithfulness since the days of the wilderness. Be aware; the Gentiles will grow in their hatred toward My pure bloodline people. They will assault you. They shall attempt to harm My Son’s Bride. Defend them, empower them, and lead them to the saving Grace of My Son.
The Lord has given me a series of messages for the year 2025 that will fulfill the commission of my recent letter from the Lord. Israel will be my focus. However, the Gentiles will be blessed since the born-again believers have been graphed into Jesus's pure Jewish bloodline. Will you pray for this upcoming adventure? Send your reply HERE.
THANK YOU
Your generous donations have been instrumental in propelling our work forward. Because of your support, we have been able to reach out to those who need us the most, providing them with the Biblical understanding they desperately need & will need in the upcoming tumultuous times. Your contributions have not only provided discipleship, publications, and media but have also brought hope and encouragement to many of our readers and viewers.
To our prayer partners, your prayers have been our stronghold. In times of difficulty, your prayers have given us the strength to continue our work. Your intercession has been a source of peace and comfort, reminding us that we are not alone in our endeavors.
As we navigate these challenging times, your continued support is more critical than ever. We are reminded of the scripture in Galatians 6:9: "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Your support, both financial and spiritual, is a testament to this verse.
We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and commitment. We pray that God continues to bless you abundantly for your generosity and faithfulness.
Once again, thank you for standing with us. We look forward to continuing our journey together, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
I will close with another 'Word the Lord' He imparted to me:
As I have revealed to you, all wars will lead to Israel. Israel will panic and fall into deep despair. Their leaders will reach out to a global leader who will promise them refuge. As I have shown you, he will forsake them in the end. It is My will that Israel becomes appalled, shocked by betrayal, and utterly desolate, for I will not save them until I have extracted the roots of David. Until this hour, I will leave Israel as a slave, a prey, a land to be conquered by their enemies. My people have brought this upon themselves by forsaking Me. Their lust is unrestrained. Their hope shall fade with the shadows of the setting sun. Once all is brought to nothingness, I shall reveal My everlasting Son.
Pressing On in Christ,
Stephen & Jane

I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. (2 John 1:4)
A question I am frequently asked is, why is child trafficking on the rise? Another question asked is why our children are being doped by the woke culture. Both questions deserve righteous answers. The short answer is - parents are not guarding and protecting their children. The full answer is more complex.
CHILDREN RAISED IN LIES
Children raised in cultural lies are like seeds planted in infertile soil. They may grow, but their growth is stunted, their potential unfulfilled, and worse yet, their parents are not monitoring what their children are being taught.
It’s the parent’s responsibility to nurture them with the Truth of the Word of God, allowing them to flourish into well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to an authentic Christian society. It’s important to foster an environment of open dialogue and critical thinking to help children discern God’s Truth from falsehood. Remember, the strength of a tree lies in its roots, and the roots of our children should be in the soil of the Gospel.
Depraved evil and demonic lies that infiltrate the minds of our children are like invasive weeds in a garden, threatening to choke the Life of Christ out of the beautiful life planned by God the Father, His Truth, their innocence, and potential to be workers for the Kingdom of God. It’s our duty as parents to uproot these lies and plant seeds of righteousness in Christ, integrity, and wisdom that comes down from above, fostering an environment where our children can grow and flourish in the light and Life of Jesus Christ.
But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. (James 3:14-15)
It’s crucial to equip our children with the tools to discern truth from falsehood, promote critical thinking, and foster a culture of open dialogue with their parents while maintaining mutual respect. Remember, the future of our society lies in the hands of our children, and it’s our responsibility to guide them toward a path of truth and righteousness.
PREDATORS
Predators brainwashing our children is akin to a dark cloud casting a shadow over the bright future of our young ones.
It’s a call to action for every parent, educator, and responsible citizen to stand as vigilant guardians of innocence and truth. We must equip our children with the armor of God’s knowledge, the shield of critical thinking in Christ, and the sword of discernment to combat these insidious influences, which is the Word of God. Remember, the safety and well-being of our children are the pillars upon which the future of our society rests. It’s crucial that we train our children with the Bible, educate our children about potential dangers, and empower them to make informed decisions that match the Word of Truth. Our collective effort can help safeguard our children from such threats.
NEGLECTFUL PARENTS
Neglectful parents who allow others to train their children are like gardeners who abandon their gardens to the elements. The seeds of potential in the children may not get the right nurturing to bloom into their full potential. It’s a reminder that parenting is not just a responsibility but a privilege, an opportunity to shape the future by guiding young minds in and toward the Word of Truth. After all, God entrusted them to their parents.
Due to the massive exodus of fathers from the home, forced divorces, and our moms being forced into the workforce, some find it impossible to raise their children under such circumstances. In other cases, there are plenty of families that neglect their role as mothers and fathers and choose to allow outsiders to raise and educate their children.
In both cases, the government’s educational system (public schools) steps in to become surrogate parents.
The endgame becomes what the teachers believe becomes the bible of sorts for the children. This ideology, by the way, is the same within a home where the child is trained by both parents.
Remember, every child is a mirror to the beliefs of the “parent” who raises them. It’s our duty as parents to ensure that this mirrored image reflects the light and Life of Jesus Christ. It’s crucial that parents take an active role in their children’s upbringing, providing Biblical guidance, Christ-centered love, and church support while also teaching them to navigate the world independently with what they have been taught.
Predators are individuals who steal our children’s minds by acting like parental figures. This can be seen in human trafficking, public schools, some private schools, and even those babysitters. One of the leading predators is our government, who manages children via teachers who must sign-on to regulations of culture, verbiage, and intrusive educational ideologies.
Government Institutions as Predators
The upbringing of children is a complex task from a government perspective. Early on, the government’s system involved various stakeholders, including parents, educators, and the government. However, the roles and responsibilities of these entities have changed significantly. Today, the government believes they are the PRIMARY parental figure in our children’s lives. Honestly, and largely, they are right. Since parents have evacuated their roles, either by force or choice, the government sees no other option.
The Role of Parents
Parents should play a crucial role in the upbringing of their children - even in a government setting. God appointed them as the first teachers and role models for their children, shaping their Biblical values, behaviors, and attitudes. Parents provide emotional support, instill discipline, and teach social norms and life skills. They understand their children’s unique needs, strengths, and weaknesses, allowing them to tailor their parenting strategies accordingly. Therefore, parents’ involvement in their children’s lives is irreplaceable and vital for their overall development. But what happens when parents neglect these responsibilities?
The Role of Government as Parents
The government, on the other hand, has a broader role in child-rearing. It sets policies and regulations that protect children’s rights, ensure their safety, and promote their welfare. The system teaches them to rule their households from the bottom up - the child rules the home in beliefs and behaviors. Since the government provides public education, what the public believes regarding cultural beliefs becomes the curriculum for the schools. When parents refuse to support these beliefs, child abuse is declared by the governing institution. What do the schools do? They call in healthcare services, and social programs that support the child’s rights. They also enforce laws that protect children from their abusive, neglectful, and the Biblical, or conservative exploitation of the responsible parents. Thus, the government plays the most significant parental role in creating a combative environment for child in the homes of their guardian or parent. The results? The Biblical principle of training up your children goes upside wrong.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
Parents vs. Government
While both parents and the government used to have an important role in child rearing, this is not the case today. In our culture today, their responsibilities compete rather than complement each other. Parents have the primary responsibility for their children’s upbringing. Our public schools no longer believe this. Since the average parent does not provide the love, care, and guidance that children need on a daily basis, the government deems it necessary to do so - in their own way. However, parents feel like they have no other choice, so they leave the training in the hands of tax support educators, who are turning more and more woke by the day. Most parents realize because of their own limitations they cannot do everything on their own. They believe they need support from the government in the form of quality or not public services while being forced to tolerate child-rights policies, government safety, and a healthier environment than that of today’s homes.
The government, for its part, has become a perpetrator of sorts - brainwashing our children’s minds to match their morbid interests.
My wife and I did our due diligence on researching this topic long before our children reached school age. We decided to homeschool. That, of course, required us to make the decision that Jane would not work outside the home. That decision required me to be the primary provider for our family - even in ministry. It also required the two of us to NEVER consider divorce - for any reason. Thus, we were required to stay faithful to the Biblical mandate and model of a Biblical home, which was we are the primary educators of our children. However, we are not ignorant. We know because of the lion’s share of divorces and fathers vacating their homes, women have been forced to live out an ungodly model of releasing others to train up their children. We have grieved over this misnomer for more than forty years.
CHILD TRAFFICKING
Without question, we believe the primary reason the child trafficking numbers are out of control is because of one simple factor - children are left to themselves, unprotected, with few to monitor their lives. Children have become their own parent figures, protectors, and, in many cases, providers. This makes them the most vulnerable humans on the face of the planet. Why wouldn’t abductors target them? For the predators, it is like taking candy from a baby, or should I say feeding candy to them to capture them.
The solution is to pull your children from the public school system and homeschool them.
Now, we know that is an “impossibility” in many cases, so, we offer a Family Safety Guide. Download it HERE. However, if you have the resources and abilities to homeschool, do it.
Homeschooling offers the following benefits that can contribute to a child’s overall development:
* Flexibility: Homeschooling allows for a flexible schedule that can be tailored to the child’s needs. This can be particularly beneficial for students with learning or health challenges.
* Individualized Education: Homeschooling provides the opportunity for personalized learning (Biblical learning), catering to the child’s unique strengths, weaknesses, and interests.
* Strong Relationships: Homeschooling often strengthens parent-child relationships and friendships. It also allows for quality family time.
* Safe Learning Environment: Homeschooling can protect children from negative aspects of school environments, such as bullying, wokism, and peer pressure.
* Broad Curriculum: Homeschooling allows for a broad curriculum that includes practical skills, volunteering, artistic pursuits, Biblical training, and traditional trades.
* Independence: Homeschooling can foster independence and boost confidence spiritually, psychologically, and physically.
However, it’s important to note that homeschooling also comes with its own set of challenges, such as the potential for caregiver burnout, reduced access to resources and support services, and the need for parents to balance their roles as both parents and teachers. Therefore, it is imperative that parents become members of a trusted Homeschool support group to ensure success.
In the grand symphony of education, parents play the role of the first and most influential conductors. They set the rhythm, tune the instruments, and guide the melody of their children’s learning journey. As primary educators, parents have the unique privilege and responsibility to shape their children’s minds, instill Biblical values, and ignite the spark of curiosity of Christ, Culture & Creator.
Remember, every child is a masterpiece in progress, and parents are the artists who hold the brush. Let’s celebrate and support parents in this vital role, for they are not just raising children, but shaping the future of our world.
