The foolishness of man adopts a third form of wisdom that is cloaked in deception – that of the mind of humans. Humans are a vessel for wisdom, good or bad. When they are deceived into believing they can formulate their own, they become fools. They become guilty of the worst kind of religion – humanism. First, we must ask if the “wisdom” shows signs of “jealousy” or “selfish ambition.” Secondly, does this “wisdom” reveal “arrogance” and “lying against the Truth (Jesus).” If it does show these symptoms of demise, it is evidenced, according to this passage, that this worldview, or insight, is not that which comes down from above, or from God. Furthermore, it says this self-proclaimed “wisdom” is earthly (man’s thoughts), natural (science-based) and demonic (messenger of Satan). Please forward.
