Good. God. We watched this extremely odd movie so you don't have to. This is the second week in "The Race to Kane" wherein each week, a host will select a movie based off a filmography connection to someone in the last movie. A New Series Has Begun! This week, we kick off "The Race to Kane" wherein each week, a host will select a movie based off a filmography connection to someone in the last movie. Our starting point? Arjun selected Widows (2018)! In this episode, we discuss how great it is, and Brooke reveals how wrong she is by hating it. And I mean hating it. We're off the rails with this one. After a brief hiatus and without Caleb, the crew returns to Cage March. Except it's not March, and we didn't talk about Nic Cage for about half of the episode. That attention went to one Mr. Kong and another Mr. Godzilla. It's a wacky chaotic episode, a fitting way to end the Cage marathon (if indeed this is the end).

This week on Cage March, the crew pits Nic Cage's 2 Oscar Nominated performances against each other. Adaptation is one of Arjun's favorite movies, so he's psyched to chat about it. Alicia defends Leaving Las Vegas (she takes an adamantly pro-Boozy tits stance). Devin keeps us grounded as always. Brooke is somewhere in the ether. Good episode as always.

Cage March marches on as the crew (minus an Arjun, plus an Erik) tackles Romantic Comedy Cage. The paring starts with Valley Girl, an LA teen rom-com featuring Nic Cage's 1983 breakout role as Randy, an alt-punk God. The other film is Moonstruck, Cage & Cher's 1987 outsized Italian American Rom-Com that gave Cher her Oscar and features a Cage at a crucial apex between young hot boy Cage and the crazy Cage we know and love. This episode also feature's Alicia's roommate Emma, so that's cool.
