This we I sit down with Ebuka, whose journey spans continents, cultures, and callings. Born and raised in a small village in Nigeria, Ebuka came to Indiana at just 18 years old to pursue college. That transition—from village life to the American campus—was not easy. It brought challenges to his identity and his faith, but also planted the seeds for something bigger.
As he navigated college, music, and eventually the professional music industry, Ebuka wrestled with God in deep ways. Instead of weakening him, those seasons strengthened his faith and gave him a vision: to create something greater than himself. After years of touring, performing, and experiencing the hype of music festivals, he realized God was calling him to build a new kind of festival—one fully centered on Jesus.
That calling became fastivalle™, a faith-based nonprofit creating Christ-centered experiences through worship, creativity, and community. Based in Indy, fastivalle™ hosts an annual Christian music festival that combines live music, breakout sessions, food trucks, and even a kids zone—all designed to glorify God and bring people together.
In our conversation, Ebuka shares:
This episode is raw, inspiring, and a reminder that God can use anyone, from anywhere, to build His Kingdom.
🎧 Tune in to hear Ebuka’s incredible story and the vision behind fastivalle™—coming September 13, 2025 at Heart & Soul Church in Fishers, IN.

I sit down with Micah Beckwith, Lieutenant Governor of Indiana, to talk about one of the most important—and controversial—questions of our time: Can you be a Christian and a politician?
Micah shares his powerful testimony of when his relationship with God became real, and how the Lord called him out of pastoral ministry and into the world of politics. We dive into how his faith shapes the way he governs Indiana, why he believes Christians must engage in the public square, and what it really looks like to live out the Gospel in government.
We don’t shy away from the hard topics either—Micah addresses some of the controversial statements and policies he’s made that have landed in the news, and shares the true heart behind them.
This is a raw, honest, and eye-opening conversation about faith, politics, and courage. Whether you agree with him or not, you’ll walk away challenged to think deeper about what it means to live as an image bearer of Christ in every sphere—including government.

I sit down with soulful singer-songwriter Phoebe Ritchie—an artist who truly embodies what it means to shine light through vulnerability. Phoebe believes she was created by God to create, and when you meet her (or hear her sing), you’ll believe it too.
In this honest and powerful conversation, we talk about the difference between worship and entertainment, and how brokenness can be your message. Phoebe shares how our deepest wounds can glorify God more than any polished performance ever could.
She opens up about her experience with church hurt—how, when she needed the church the most, it wasn’t there for her. And yet, through wrestling with her pain, God, and the Church, she came out with deeper wisdom, a stronger faith, and a raw, beautiful relationship with God that is nothing short of inspiring.
This is a story of resilience, redemption, and the kind of worship that flows from a heart surrendered—even when it’s been broken.

I sit down with Gary Stump, Executive Pastor of Onward Church in Fishers, Indiana. Gary shares his deeply personal story of grief, surrender, and redemption after his wife—the mother of his four young children—was tragically killed by a drunk driver.
We talk about what it means to trust God with our mess and whether something beautiful can really come from unimaginable pain. Gary opens up about wrestling with God through the grieving process, the hard questions, and how he came to forgive the man who took his wife’s life—not by his own strength, but by the supernatural gift of forgiveness God gave him.
Gary also shares how his life shifted from chasing success to surrendering to God’s plan, and how—even through tragedy—God has shown Himself faithful.
This is a raw, honest, and hope-filled conversation about loss, redemption, and the God who meets us in our deepest pain.

Lindsay and I dive deep into John chapters 11 and 12 and talk about the kind of trust it takes to walk through life when it feels like it’s falling apart. From relationships to marriage, parenting, and everyday moments—these chapters remind us that even in delays, difficulties, and death, God is still writing a story with purpose. In John 11, we wrestle with the waiting: when it seems like God is late, but He’s actually working a greater purpose. The pause may feel pointless, but it is filled with potential. Faith is forged in the fire of grief, and hope rises even when all seems lost.
In John 12, we talk about the paradox of the Gospel—that the way to life often comes through death. Jesus had to die to become the Resurrection and the Life. This isn’t a call to self-hatred, but an invitation to let go of momentary pleasures and live for something far greater. It’s about turning our eyes from the temporary and setting them on the eternal.
4 Biblical Truths from John 11 & 12:
No matter what season you’re walking through, may this episode help you find the beauty in the waiting, the hope in the hard, and the trust that Jesus truly is enough.
I sit down with a man who has impacted generations — my former 8th-grade Bible teacher, Mr. Dan Stroup. For over 40 years, Dan faithfully taught middle schoolers not just about Scripture, but about how to live it. He’s a beloved mentor, known for his gentle spirit, Christlike humility, and unwavering devotion to making every student feel seen, heard, and loved.
Dan shares his upbringing as the youngest of nine children, how he discovered his love for the Bible, and what it meant to spend four decades in the classroom. We talk about his incredible tradition of writing birthday letters to every student he’s ever taught — a simple act that continues to echo love and care long after the classroom days are over.
We also explore his personal journey of loss and hope: walking through the grief of losing his beloved wife to cancer, becoming a widower, wrestling with loneliness and questions for God — and eventually, finding love again with his wife Susie.
Dan's story is filled with wisdom, gentleness, and the steady faithfulness of a man who has walked closely with the Lord. Whether you had him as a teacher or not, this episode will bless and inspire you.

I sit down with Alex Diaz, Midtown Campus Pastor at Traders Point Christian Church. He shares his powerful story of immigrating from Venezuela, preparing to become a lawyer, and how God interrupted his plans with a greater purpose — ministry.
We talk about:
* How God doesn’t call the equipped — He equips the called
* His personal journey through anxiety, depression, and healing
* The truth that therapy and medication can coexist with strong, vibrant faith
* Why asking for help is not weakness — it’s wisdom
* And how diversity in the Church reflects the heart of God
Alex reminds us that following Jesus doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine. It means bringing our whole selves — brokenness and all — to the One who heals.
You are not alone. And your story — like Alex’s — is a testimony of grace.
