I sit down with Shayla Webb — attorney, entrepreneur, and founder of The AromaRoom in Carmel, IN — to share her powerful journey through suffering, surrender, and healing. In 2023, Shayla was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent two major surgeries, including a full craniotomy. The recovery was nothing short of life-altering: she lost her vision temporarily, had to relearn how to walk, and faced emotional and physical challenges that tested her faith to the core.
In this episode, Shayla vulnerably shares:
* What it was like to face a diagnosis that turned her life upside down
* How she wrestled with God in her suffering and still chose to stay with Him
* What it really looks like to fully surrender every part of your life
* How her healing journey led to the creation of The AromaRoom, a space for intentional breath, restoration, and peace
Shayla’s story is a powerful reminder that God can be trusted with all our needs, and that even when we feel broken, we are not beyond restoration.
🎧 Tune in to hear how one woman’s pain became her purpose — and how healing often begins with one deep, intentional breath.

I sit down with Shannoh Harris, a woman whose faith was forged in the hardest season of her life. Shannoh didn't grow up in a Christian home — it wasn't until her marriage that she came to know the Lord and put her trust in Him. But when her marriage fell apart and her ex-husband came out as transgender, Shannoh faced an unimaginable battle. During their divorce and custody trial, the court removed her second-oldest son from her care, ruling that her Christian beliefs made her home “unsafe.”
For 21 months, Shannoh walked a painful road of separation from her son, forced to surrender him — and herself — into God’s hands. With nothing but God’s promises in Scripture and her deep faith in His ability to redeem all things, Shannoh chose to trust and wait on the Lord’s timing. Her story is a powerful testimony to the peace, hope, and transformation that come from letting go of control and resting in God’s perfect will.
In this episode, we talk honestly about what it means to surrender, wrestle with doubts, and ultimately believe that God is at work — even in the darkest nights.

I sit down with Karen Alter, CEO of Boshoff Advertising and one of the three dynamic women behind the agency’s success. Karen shares what it’s like to be a Christian woman in the advertising world, how she got her start in the industry, and what it takes to run a thriving business in a fast-paced and often value-challenging field.
But what makes this conversation truly unforgettable is Karen’s deeply personal story — one that may stretch the way some in the Christian community think about faith, calling, and motherhood.
After years of walking through infertility and preparing to adopt, God showed up in the most unexpected way: one of her business partners felt led by the Lord to carry Karen’s child. What followed was nothing short of miraculous — a journey of surrender, friendship, divine provision, and a deeper relationship with God.
This episode is an honest, grace-filled look at:
You’ll walk away reminded that God is in the details — even in boardrooms, battles with infertility, and bold conversations between friends.
