KC Clyde got his first real acting role by auditioning under a fake name, because the director was his father and neither of them wanted anyone to know.Twenty five years later he plays Barney on Landman, he has worked in the Taylor Sheridan universe on Yellowstone, he runs his own acting studio, he just handed a TV pilot to Mariska Hargitay's production company, and in January he directs his first feature.The road between those two points is the whole episode. KC grew up doing craft services on his dad's fifty thousand dollar films, researched his first role in an encyclopedia because YouTube did not exist yet, and talked his way into a high school drama class purely so he could graduate. He won the Utah state championship with a monologue he had to ask his girlfriend to explain to him.
