We talk about his path from learning to become a plumber to going to beauty school, coming to the US with a dollar and a dream, barely speaking English and forging a career as one of the most sought after hairstylists in the country. Salma Hindy is an Egyptian-Canadian comedian who opens for Chelsea Handler regularly, is a writer on Ramy Youssef's new animated show and has an album out called "Born On 9/11".

We talk about her parents emigrating from Egypt to Canada, her father becoming an Imam in Toronto, growing up wearing the hijab, not being allowed to talk to the neighbors and being ashamed of herself. Salma has gone from being a 30 year old biomedical engineer who had never kissed a boy to performing in front of thousands of people and finding humor in her pain. She tells me about what religion means to her now, why she's very Egyptian, and the time her cousing almost beat up her ex-boyfriend's Mom in a mall in Cairo.

Antonio Sanint is a Colombian comedy legend known for his sketch comedy show Riase El Show on Netflix, his stand up special Quien Pidio El Pollo? and his countless acting roles. Last year Antonio decided to leave Bogota and move to New York City. Can you imagine leaving behind a huge career back home to start from scratch in another country and another language? Antonio's story is moving, hilarious and so inspiring.
