Pramod came to the US to pursue a Masters in civil engineering and later transitioned to designing software.
He came across a problem while reading some PDF documents, which got him wondering whether this was the final stage of the digitization of a document. This is where his company Dynos was born with the mission to create a dynamic document that we can interact with. After completing an MBA, Pramod decided that his solution would be most beneficial to teachers. He quit his job and started pursuing his venture on a full-time basis.
As an early-stage startup, it was harder for Dynos to penetrate the market in the US so they started in India. Currently, the company is partnering with many schools throughout India to provide them with a dynamic education platform where students can interact with the learning material. Some schools are lacking technology and Dynos is working with technology vendors to help provide it.
Pramod emphasized the importance of joining a community of entrepreneurs in your area, and reaching out for support and feedback.
Pramod got to pitch his startup at DC Startup week 2022 and shared the great experience and very supportive community that helped set him up for success.
