Part One of Five- Immunity For Murder- The Story Begins

On December 30th, 2010, in the small city of Binghampton, N.Y., 23 year-old Veronica Taft, a single mother with four small children all under the age of five, returned to her apartment from her night job to be greeted by her boyfriend Charles "Chucky" Pratt, who told her all the children had been fed and were sleeping soundly. She went to bed herself, unaware that Chucky had beaten her two year old boy Lyric to death early that morning and placed him in his bed next to his sister.
