And He didhelp US…” 2 Corinthians 1:8-9

          Testing is a great GPS!

        • Core Transformation: Blind Spots

“For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there isfreedom… And the Lord – who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:17, 18

When I am in control of my personality, I will leave damage in my wake.

When God is in control of my personality, I will leave blessings in my wake.

Why do we have a hard time seeing ourselves the way others see us?
          1. We Are Blind

Definition: Places we lack clarity, insight and awareness of ourselves.

Over time, if we keep choosing not to see, we will no longer be able to see.

            2. We Often Choose Blindness Over Sight
                Pain
                Pride
                Laziness
                Stubbornness
                Trauma
                3. Our Responses To Blind Spots
                    Reject it-It’s not true.
Acknowledge it and stop bad behavior.
Acknowledge it and let God root it out.
                    How To Accurately See Ourselves
Accept that I am God’s beloved.
                        Look at an accurate mirror.
“But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God’s law for free men, he will not only remember it but he will do what it says…” James 1:25a
Examine my relationships for patterns of behavior:
What am I pretending not to know?
What am I pretending is not a problem?
What am I pretending I’ve overcome?
What do I think I’m good at but others tell me I’m not?
What is it like on the other side of me?
Establish a daily practice of humility before God
“Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt… Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean…” Psalm 51:1, 2, 7

                        • Core Transformation: How god Builds Your Faith Opportunities
“Whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your FAITH IS TESTED, your endurance has a chance to grow. So LET IT GROW, for when it is fully developed you will be STRONG IN CHARACTER and ready for anything!” James 1:2-4 (NLT)
3 WAYS GOD TRANSFORMS YOUR FAITH TO BUILD YOUR CORE
                          1. GOD GIVES US A DIFFICULT NEW TASK OR DREAM WHAT Lord?)
"It was by faith that Noah built an ark to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about something that had never happened before." Hebrews 11:7 (NLT)
FAITH IS FACING THE FUTURE WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT?”
“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain OF WHAT we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
                            2. GOD GIVES US A MAJOR CHANGE (WHERE Lord?)
“It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went WITHOUT KNOWING WHERE HE WAS GOING.” Hebrews 11:8-10 (NLT)
FAITH IS FOLLOWING GOD’S LEADING WITHOUT KNOWING “WHERE?”
                              3. GOD GIVES US A DELAYED PROMISE (WHEN Lord?)
“Even after Abraham reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, LIVING IN A TENT AND SO DID ISAAC AND JACOB, to whom God gave the SAME PROMISE. Abraham did this because he was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.” Hebrews 11:8-10 (NLT)
FAITH IS WAITING FOR GOD’S TIMING WITHOUT KNOWING “WHEN?”
