SOLD OUT…. what does it mean to be “sold out“ for Christ?… what does that person live like? Is it someone that just knows a lot of scripture and theology… Is it someone that listens to Christian music and wears Christian T-shirts all the time… Is it someone that always posts Bible verses and Christian Facebook posts?… our society may even think it’s someone that commits to church attendance every single week, regardless of the weather. All of these characteristics are great and should be present in every believer, but these characteristics alone do not make a person SOLD OUT. What makes a person different and “sold out” is their heart… they have a Spirit-led resolve in the core of their being that wants to DENY themself and to LIVE for and STAND for Christ no matter the cost!!! We will see some people in Revelation chapters 6 and 7, who, during the tribulation, denied themself, lived for and made a stand for Christ, and even gave their life for the faith, resisting the world system and evil! It doesn’t get any more SOLD OUT than that! God is calling you to be “sold out” for Christ!…you may never have to die for the faith… But we are all called to be a living sacrifice for Christ, to deny ourselves, and to live for, and make a stand for Him no matter the cost! You do not want to miss this message!

DO YOU LIVE AND ABIDE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE SHEPHERD? Last week in the beginning of Psalms 23 we saw the significance of having The Lord as your shepherd, listening to and following his voice...to live a life free from “Wanting“ the things of this world, to have rest and provision, guidance and direction… Now in the second half of this chapter, we see the benefits of the presence of the Shepherd in your life! Who is your “shepherd” when times are tough? Does evil surround you? when you feel attacked? Who and what you follow will make all the difference in your life!

WHO’S ”VOICE” DO YOU FOLLOW? Within the chaos, noise, and confusion of this world, there are many “voices” that call out and try to appeal to us today…The voice of fear, doubt, anxiety, worldliness, compromise...who do you listen to and follow? In the midst of all this, have you heard the voice of Jesus, the Good Shepherd? A tight miraculous bond exists between sheep and their shepherd… In fact, the sheep will only listen and come to the voice of their shepherd, they ignore the voice of anybody else trying to call to them. In John chapter 10 Jesus says, that he is the good shepherd and his sheep hear his voice, he knows them, and they follow him. Let that sink in...so now, which voice should you follow?

WHAT WOULD BE THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO THE THINGS IN LIFE YOU ARE FACING RIGHT NOW? Is it wisdom and understanding, knowledge of the future, money, relationships... are things of this world the only things you’re looking to? Have you considered diving deeper into God‘s word for answers and direction? Psalms 19 says that the word of God saves/refreshes the soul, gives wisdom to those who need it, brings joy to the heart, and enlightens the eyes! Regardless of what you’re facing right now, doesn’t that sound like what you’re looking for? Psalms 19:7 says that the Word (law) of the Lord is perfect… What does that mean?

WHAT GUIDES YOU?...your feelings? family/friends? worldly wisdom? your own wisdom? the latest cultural trends? All of the things listed here to change and are often false and deceptive. So if any of these things are what you often make decisions by and turn to for guidance, especially when things are dark, You are living unstable and going down the wrong path. God‘s word is absolute truth, there is no variation, it never changes, and gives consistent light to our paths to guide our life in every way! The question is… Will we listen to, follow and look for this Light to live by?...or will we fall for other things that attempt to show us the way, but will lead us astray?

DO YOU WALK IN THE WAY OF THE LORD AND HIS WORD? The Word of God clearly states that blessed is the man who walks in the way of the Lord, seeks him with all his heart, does no iniquity and follows the law of God! Does that describe your desire, your heart, and your motives? We cannot do any of this apart from the Spirit of God living in us and empowering us...It’s the Spirit of the Lord that gives us this desire in the first place, so if the Spirit of the Lord is not present, a person will not have the desire to follow the word of God in this way.

ARE YOU READY TO GET STRONGER IN YOUR FAITH AND WALK WITH THE LORD? If you are, set your heart right before the Lord, fix your eyes on Jesus, and enter His “Wait Training” Program! One of the hardest things for us to do because of our fleshly nature, and this current American culture is to WAIT for something! We live in a world of fast food, high-speed Internet, credit cards, and lofty loans and mortgages at our fingertips...we don’t have to wait for anything. So no wonder we are spoiled when it comes to our faith and trust in God when things are not immediately provided at our fingertips when we ask for them, or the way we ask for them. But in Christ, there is strength, hope, trust, and confidence to be gained through the Lord's “wait training“ program…and if we not only sign up, but persevere through this rigorous training, it will strengthen our faith muscle!...so when our day of resistance comes, we can stand strong!

We worship and serve a God who rescues...he is in the business of making a way when there is no way, He restores hope when all hope is lost, he defeats enemies who set themselves against us when we are in His will, he gives life and makes all things new!... He is Jehovah Mephalti, the Lord our Deliverer!...is He your Lord and Deliverer?

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO READ, HEAR AND KEEP THESE WORDS OF PROPHECY…FOR THE TIME IS NEAR…those are the words from our Lord regarding this book of Revelation! Last week we had a timely message, looking at the red horse, and diving deep into Bible prophecy, showing us what is happening before our very eyes are talked about in scripture! That should encourage you that all scripture is true, on time, and accurate! This week we finish our understanding of the four horses of the apocalypse by looking at the black horse and the pale horse that is to come during the tribulation. What are these prophetic horses and their riders to bring to the earth? How significant will it be? How can it encourage us today and move us to a Spirit-led life of holiness and a closer walk with Christ?
