February 27, 2022 - ARE YOU A FAN OR A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST?

The difference is in the heart behind your praise, the focus of your praise and the conditions of your praise!

Fans for a sports team may come and go depending on wins and losses, or even who the players are on the team, but a follower will stay with a team regardless of the circumstances because their allegiance is with this one team!

Is your praise and allegiance to Christ dependent upon your feelings, your desires being met, or what’s going on around you?...

Or are you devoted to Christ no matter what!

If that’s the case, He is always the object of your praise no matter what!

February 20, 2022 - We continue in our sermon series through Ezra called “RETURN AND REBUILD” with a message entitled “coming back to the heart of worship“, where we will see the first thing the Israelites did in returning to Jerusalem and to the Lord, is put down an altar and return to worship!

What does that look like in our life?

February 6, 2022 - ARE YOU “ALL IN” TO WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO?

Did you know that a big part of what God has called you to do means getting involved, being connected and serving in the local church!?

In Ezra chapter 2, God takes the time to list individually the people and families that were involved in this “return” to what he wanted to do individually in the lives of each person, as well as corporately through “His people” returning together to rebuild His temple!

Today, God has called his people, collectively known as “the church“, to bond together and be all in and committed to the task that he has given the church!

If God takes the time to list all these people out individually, don’t you think you and

your family are individually important to the task that God wants to complete through

the church?

We are “the body of Christ“ and each part must complete its task for the body to

function properly!

January 16, 2022 - We are continuing in our sermon series that we just started last week going through the book of Ezra called “Return and Rebuild”... we will be seeing how God stirs in our heart to come back to him and it requires the “Burning of an Old Empire”...the old empire of pride, disobedience to God and sin that had ruled us for so long...and how God is ready to set us in a new direction and restore everything he intends in our lives when we repent and seek his face!

And now we will see God calling them back for the RETURN!... to help them REBUILD everything He had for them in their life!

Some 2000 years ago when Christ first came to earth in the manger, people in his own hometown had no desire to know him, and took no time out of their schedule to seek him!...don’t let that be us this Christmas!
