The temptation and pull of lust is a tool the enemy is using that leads to addictions like pornography and sexual sin and is running rampant in our society.

What are the effects of lust and pornography in our lives and in our society? How can we fight back and slay the dragon of lust and pornography that fuels many sexual desires that fall outside the parameters of God's word, and his desire for healthy sexual relationships within the bounds of marriage between a man and woman?

A STORM HAS DEVELOPED ACROSS OUR WORLD THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF IN THE FORM OF A VIRUS...how can the Church be a calm in the midst of this storm? What would Jesus say to us, both individually and collectively as a body of Christ, on how we are to live and conduct ourselves in the midst of the chaos, emotion, division, and uncertainty that this crisis has created?

Come relax fellowship and worship with us tomorrow at 10 AM as we continue in our sermon series called “Counter Culture: speaking the truth in love“ and hear from God‘s word on a biblical perspective as to how we as followers of Christ are to conduct ourselves in the midst of the storm that has developed and continues to rage.

We are here to be salt and light!…let’s be all God has called us to be in this time... as the eye of a hurricane is, so are we as followers of Christ to be a calm in the midst of this storm!

WHAT IS TRUTH? Who defines it? Is there such thing as absolute truth...or is all truth relative?

Our world has become increasingly more divided and deceived on many issues facing our culture because of this underlying foundational issue of defining truth...and if we have an improper stance on this very issue right here, it will mislead you in your thinking, heart and actions in life...and ultimately affect where you and others who are misled spend eternity!

We are continuing in our new sermon series entitled “Counter Culture” with a message called “The Eternity Bowl: Absolute truth vs. Relative truth”

There is no greater thing to be certain of in your life than what we will discuss this Sunday!

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE WHEN THE CHURCH AND THE CULTURE MEET? A better question may be, what should it look like?...because in recent years there have not been many great examples.

What does God call us to do and who does he call us to be as followers of Christ in this world that is ever so changing, chaotic, divisive and in the midst of it all, looking for hope?

How do we address the culture with truth and love regarding some of the most sensitive and divisive issues in our world today?

What does the Bible say on these issues?...would Jesus stay silent and accept sinful conduct as the norm?...would he yell, scream and call names from a picket line?...if not, how would he address the culture?

For far too long the church has been silent on issues that the enemy is using to destroy peoples lives...and he is using this to his advantage to deceive many...even inside the churches of 21 century America and the world!

Will we, as the church of Jesus Christ, continue to just stand by, stay quiet and fade into the shadows...or will we be salt and light and speak the truth in love boldly to people in a world that so desperately needs it?

Come join us at Impact this Sunday and in the weeks ahead as we start a new series called “Counter Culture: Speaking the Truth in Love”.

God has a work still to do in the culture through the church in these final days and it will not be completed if we yell, scream and get mad...or if we remain silent regarding the truth of Gods word!

It is time for the church, the Bride of Christ, to be everything Christ died on the cross for it to be!
