Dr. Jeffrey D. Arthurs is associate professor of preaching and communication and dean of the chapel at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, S. Hamilton, Mass. He is an active scholar, regularly presenting papers at conferences and writing articles for several leading periodicals. His books reflect his love of preaching and communication: Preaching with Variety, Devote Yourself to Public Reading of Scripture, and Preaching As Reminding.

Dr. Scott Manor is the President of Knox Theological Seminary, Associate Professor of Historical Theology. He has his BA from Covenant College; MA from Covenant Theological Seminary; ThM and PhD from University of Edinburgh (in Early Church History: Patristics major).

Ps. Benny Solihin, yang membagi kelasnya di YouTube “Indonesia Preaching Ministry,” percaya bahwa sebuah khotbah bertujuan untuk mengubahkan hati melalui Firman Tuhan. Untuk tujuan itu khotbah yang baik dinilai dari 5 faktor: Alkitabiah, Relevansi, Komunikatif, Kristosentris, dan Otentisitas.

Ps. Dieter Nicolas menekankan bahwa paradigma Kerajaan Surga mengedepankan Tuhan Yesus sebagai Tuhan dan Raja juga selain sebagai Juruselamat. Dengan demikian, posisi manusia yang tunduk dan hidup dalam budaya kerajaan tersebut amatlah krusial.
