Lecrae is an icon. An award-winning artist with a career spanning almost two decades. So it surprised more than a few people when his most recent book, "I Am Restored" went deep into a multitude of issues - such as trauma, abuse, racism, and depression - that have plagued Lecrae throughout his life.
His honesty and transparency about some of the darkest times in his life are a great reminder that anybody can struggle - even when it looks like you have it all. This podcast will make you think deeply about how we can all grow and develop through the difficult times in life when we rely on God and the support of those around us.
In this episode we have a great discussion with Sam Allberry, author of Why bother with church?: And other questions about why you need it and why it needs you (Questions Christians Ask). Sam explains what it means to gather as a church and why we should attend church in person when possible. Jesus called us into a community of believers where we can spiritually encourage others and be encouraged spiritually. Sam addresses many of the common issues people have with church such as:
Jesus loves the church and as passionate followers of Jesus we should love the church also. In this current time of lockdowns and limited church attendance whereby most people are watching church at home, this discussion very directly answers the question of why we should bother with church.

When we hear about 'Purity' in a Christian context, we all think of one thing. No sex before marriage!
But from Brittni and Richard's perspective, that's an extreme oversimplification of what it means to live a life of purity.
We caught up with Brittni and Richard De La Mora to talk about how a full life of purity - not just sexual purity - applies to them, to their marriage, and to all of us, and how it is attainable for everyone. In Brittni's words, "if an ex-porn star can live a life of purity, anybody can live a life of purity!"
Brittni was once a member of the adult entertainment industry, where depression, drugs, and violence were part of her daily life. Today is a completely different story. Now, Brittni and Richard travel the world together preaching the love of God that set her free and brought the two of them together.
This podcast will make you rethink what purity means, and how it fits into our everyday lives.

A must listen to episode, Kirk offers great wisdom and practical advice to help all men grow as a godly husband and to help men better love and serve their wives as the Bible has called them to do.
