Imperfect Recall

Sure, we ran long.  And yeah, we got derailed a few times.  Okay, fine, we had more questions than answers by the end.  Yes, there are barking dogs at one point.  But you know what, this was a fascinating episode, and it was so good, a second part will be coming soon.

Tim Tortorello joined us for a very interesting episode.  We ran long, and Tom's neighbor decided to hold a concert in his back yard that couldn't be 100% edited out, but there's so much insightful stuff in here that it's worth the extra time.  Tort takes us back to his formative years and really opens up about what life was like for him as a teen.  The lesson we continue to learn through these voyages to the past...you're not alone, and it gets better.

As a last minute replacement for a sick guest (hope you feel better, Tort) Dan Rockwell swooped in and saved the day, offering some very interesting and intuitive perspectives on his youth.  When you were younger if you felt awkward and had no idea what you were doing, the important takeaway is...you weren't alone.  We all felt that way.

Let's face it, we all wore masks in high school.  Did any of us really get to know the real people behind them, or were we content just knowing the public persona?
