Today I didn't hike, and it didn't suck really. Didn't have a single time off though as many resupply were to be made. In the end it was a good blow, and now I feel like hiking again if my knee let's me
Recording in a different place this time and a boat it is! The sound is way different and quite nice. And saying goodbye to company while welcoming a needed day off as my knee is in troubles
Beautiful last view on this side of the Lake Leman and talking about this absence of thoughts when walking in company. Also of leaks on mattress. Also if you run listening to this good luck on that kilometer
I think everything is in the title but this long episode follows an even longer day of different events that are hard to link together. And yet we managed. Ok this is the real episode, it was wrongly labelled before!
After a horribly rainy day that soaked our bags and a fake goodbye, we got saved by two swiss ladies and their knowledge of the area (and car). All to end in a royal fondue!
I finally get out of the Doubs with my Dutchy and discover ticks for the first time! Seems it doesn't work on me. Then we visit an absinthe restaurant and sample a bit too much for hiking!

About In a tent with a French man : A daily thru hiking journal
From the publisher's feed
Hi, I'm Cartapouille, a bored french guy who has co-created and hiked the HexaTrek, 3000km to cross France through the mountains in 2022. I previously thru hiked the Via Adriatica in 2020. I also finished a small hike on the French Pyrenees following the GR10 for 150km. Each hike is a separate podcast season here.
Season 1 : Via Adriatica, Season 2: GR10, Season 3 : HexaTrek. Season 4: TransCaucasian Trail scouting
This is a daily short log to reassure my friends and family that I didn't die eaten by a bear or got blown up by a landmine.
