There's a lot of hype around Jacob Rosenberg's new book(s), and for good reason. It's a massive package that takes a deeply personal lens to San Francisco's Embarcadero scene from 1990 to 1993—some of the most influential and progressive years for street skating. I wanted to have a semi-brief chat with Jacob before his big exhibition opens in San Francisco on November 21. I didn't want to give away too much of what's in the books, but more-so wanted to show why it's a must-have, the amount of care and attention that went into it, and just to shoot the breeze with a guy who filmed some of the most important video parts to date, and is always a pleasure to chat with. Enjoy this episode.—Blair Alley
