April 03, 2021 We Need Socialism, so What is it? (And some other stuff)
I go into a brief discussion that similar to my latest blog post, about why we need to clearly define what socialism is and is not. Too many folks in America are turning to the Nordic model thinking that this somehow or another is better. But this shows a clear lack of understanding of capitalism, because as we get richer, the poor get poor. This means even more awful exploitation of the global south. We need socialism, a system that takes the wealth and abundance that “capitalism has created” and gives it to the people who created it! We need to decolonize, we need to free the global south. We need to liberate the masses, and truly liberate them. We need to give them power, we need to give them a dignified life! Power to the people!

March 29, 2021 Growing, Building and Learning as a "Leftist" in America (With none other than Nathan from Marx Madness!) *Socialists Gotta Socialize!*
In this much anticipated episode, Nathan from Marx Madness comes on to discuss a lot of things that I feel like we all have had on our minds. As we know, Leftist in-fighting is basically a pre-req to any social media platform we participate in, but honestly? I'm kind of over it. And I think a lot of people are. Now, surely this will always happen (if we peep any other social media, people argue about everything), but as Leftists, Communists, Anarchists and especially Socialists trying to BUILD SOCIALISM, we have to be able to at least talk to one another on twitter, or wherever, before we can ever think we'll be able to go out and organize. We need to be personable, we need to be approachable, and most importantly we need to look to David from Marx Madness, and just replicate everything he does. Just kidding. (No I'm not).

We talk about a lot of stuff on the way, it's a great time! I think it was also a lovely, and educational conversation that we can listen to and enjoy, and still get something out of it. Nathan and David, the folks at Marx Madness, have that skill down, so go check them out!

March 24, 2021 How to be a Good "Leftist": Listen, Help, and Learn
In this episode, I'm ranting about why it is that Leftist discourse in places online in America is cancer, why it is that this seems to plague the "Left" in our country, what Chauvinism and Opportunism do to impact this, etc.
I go into the toxicity of online Leftist culture, but not as someone trying to drag it and put an end to it, as someone who loves online forums and discourse all I want is a better outlet of solidarity, of connection building, and of education and growth. The internet, social media, and all the technology many of us are lucky enough to have in America, we abuse and misuse, we bully and we fight, we argue and we act like schoolchildren. And for what? How does this help those across the world who desperately need all the help they can get? How does this help us organize and cultivate a true power of solidarity in America? How are we helping anyone, even ourselves, by participating in this shit?

I talk about some other stuff, including what we as White comrades need to do to make sure we don't perpetuate white supremacy or patriarchal domination of our brothers and sisters of non-white backgrounds. We, the white folks who always seem to think we know better. need to learn that our mission is not to lead nor rule the revolution; the best thing we as "Leftists" can do is listen to those struggling and crying out, see their needs and provide a helping hand, and learn through experience that we all need each other, that we're not going to be able to succeed without each and every one of us working together, and that there are lessons to be learned from movements past if we ever want to see a true People's Liberation in the future.
