On Wednesday, two Russian and two People’s Republic of China aircraft were intercepted in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone on Wednesday, military officials say.

The aircraft were intercepted by U.S. and Canadian fighter jets, according to a release by the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD. Madison Knutson spoke with Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan about his reaction to these latest actions.
