Alaska Supreme Court Chief Justice Peter Maassen is set to retire in January 2025 as he approaches the mandatory retirement age for justices in Alaska. Political reporter Steve Kirch had the opportunity to talk with Maassen about his time on the bench, as well as his thoughts about the Alaska Supreme Court having a female majority for the first time in state history.
