Following on our last episode, Alison and Tamir unpack some nuanced questions related to harm in a racial justice context:

A lot of white folks struggle to understand how we harm people of color, and how to avoid causing harm without shrinking out of the work altogether. In this episode, we start to unpack these and related questions.

So much of the time, white folks take up too much space in racial justice work. But is it possible to show up so small that it also undermines the work? Alison and Tamir explore this question in part two of our series on taking up space.

How can white people step back and make more space for people of color to lead movements for justice? What are the ways we can take up too much space, and what are some healthy ways for us to check those?
