In Joke

Emily Tresidder sat down with Gill and Merryn and to talk about comedy and her MICF show 'Not Your Ex'. Suspcious of Merryn and Gill's sherlockian ability to know anything and everything through research, the two discussed with Emily how Merryn and her are oddly similar. Having met each other through Stand-Up and also performing the same character in 'The Wiz', Emily's suspicions grow and grow throughout the interview.

Merryn and Gill chatted with the juithy, delicious and scrumscious Ivan Aristegueita for In Joke. Originally from Venezuela the gang discussed the difference between Venezuelan and Australian audiences, how Ivan enjoys Australia and the group's ears were also graced with Ivan's reading of a classic picture book. You can see Ivan at his MICF show 'Juithy'

After a rogue Zoom messed up the In Joke gang, we took to the studios to chat to Stuart Goldsmith about his interesting beginnings in comedy. The wonderful Lewy from Tongue Tied and Stu, discussed comedic ethics, Stu's hilarious podcast 'The Comedian's Comedian' and Stu's interesting comedy beginnings.

Aakash, Gill and Josh chatted with famous internet comedian and Class Clowns contestant Neel Kolhatkar. Known for his boundary pushing comedy, the gang asked him about comedic ethics and the importance of race in comedy. They also discussed Weet-Bix and Nesquik.

Bonding over their love for food and food comedy, Gill chatted to Bart Freebairn about his MICF show 'Maximum Delicious'.

Paul sat down with the lovely and charming Nick Capper and Matt Stewart to discuss their two shows 'Chrome Doggie' and 'Pretty Dry' respectively. In the end, Matt and Nick gave out stand up advice (but really it was for Paul), discussed eating curry at a "Hoyts Gold Class" and Matt reflected on winning the 2014 RAW comedy competition.

On this, the first edition of "Bench Press" Paul chatted to Melbournian Comedian, Michael Shafar in Argyle Square. Sitting on a park bench, the two discussed Shafar's debut MICF show "Jewish-ish", the importance of greater Jewish-Australian representation in comedy and Shafar's balancing act of the Comedy Festival and his writing work at 'The Project' for Channel 10.

Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld, podcasters and comedians of CollegeHumor fame chatted to the In Joke crew about their upcoming live shows in Australia. Their hugely popular podcast, 'If I Were You', a show in which the duo give out - in their words, horrible advice - has achieved even higher accolades than then viral web-series 'Jake & Amir'.

We chatted with the hilarious and fabulous stand-up comedian Daniel Connell, known for his work with SYN's 'Live from the Cafeteria' gala last year. We talked with him about his new MICF show 'Stack's On' and discussed his career with writing for 'The Project'.
