Kristia's book is set in a possible future where the rights of some are know just gone and it moved slowly yet swiftly enough know on knows for sure how it all happened - it was also made into a great Hulu show!

    This episode we're going inside the FBI. We've got two nonfiction books written by members of the FBI from their time in the early days. We've got hostage negotiations and serial killers and all the big ones are covered - Waco, Texas, Edmund Kemper, Jordan, Montana, and Charles Manson. Take a trip with the FBI from before and during the creations of two new important programs. While crimes are discussed we don't go into any graphic details on the episode.

    It's summer and we are stoked on that. This episode we've got books set in summer to help get everyone extra excited and maybe help escape a heat wave or two.

    There are cousins who haven't seen each other in 10 years getting invited to visit the grandmother who disowned all her children over 20 years ago and the survivors of an almost murder. How would you cope if you were one of five someone thought about killing and the only reason you're alive, is you texted back too slowly? It even comes with an unnamed narrator - one of our favorites.

    Remember those little keychains or trinkets with your name on them from our youth? Yeah Kristia and Rachael don't, the struggle of having our names spelled "different." This episode we pushed ourselves to find a book with a main character who shares our name. Rachael already had a few on her shelf yet it was a struggle for Kristia. In the end, both books ended up similar with murder investigations, high school reunions, and a whole lotta drama.

Rachael discusses a book about a recently famous podcaster coving an active murder trial. Somehow someone knows who she is and where she's staying adding to the sketchy vibes as this book alternates timelines throughout.

    This Episode Kristia covers a book that was originally written in japan and recently translated to English. It's about a woman who works at a convenience store and has for 18 years. Every one in her life thinks it's odd she's still doing the same job, but for her, she knows who she is, and that's a convenience store worker.
