Kylie Moore-Gilbert was in solitary confinement for almost 12 months straight. There was no bed, no mattress and no pillows. The toilets made her sick and she wasn’t allowed soap to wash her hands. But Kylie wouldn't give in; she went on hunger strikes, scaled a three-storey building and snuck notes to speak to other prisoners.
