Sometimes we as Christians get distracted by our world enough that we forget to pray to God unless we are in need. In today's message, Pastor JD explains that God is a Good Father who delights in hearing us. He loves us just as we love our own children. He wants to bless us. And when we seek Him, He will turn His face towards us!

Today Pastor JD challenges the very modern concept of the seeker friendly church. Many times, this sort of approach to church comes at a great cost. And the cost is the loss of solid Bible teaching. Today Pastor JD shares with us something any and all pastor's should affirm. He would rather have a church that's a mile deep and an inch wide then a mile wide and an inch deep.

In today's prophecy update Pastor JD affirms two things: First, he clears up any misunderstanding regarding his commitment to teach the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Second, he reaffirms his commitment to teach Bible prophecy on a weekly basis. It's sort of sad that Pastor JD would even have to do this...but, with the changing times, standing for God's Word is becoming rare.

In today's message, Pastor JD teaches that the attitude of a follower of Christ is to automatically and constantly seek the Lord. It should constantly desire to draw near to God and His Word. May we pray that God puts this desire in our hearts. May we seek Him first! This way, we will build His Kingdom and bring honor to His name.

To stand secure in this mixed up world requires strength, courage, and faith. But, as Pastor JD explains in today's message, it also requires love. We live amongst sin, and though we are called to courageously stand firm apart from it, we're also to love sinners. We do this through humility. Will you ask God to humble yourself today?

We are living during difficult times. Our society seems to celebrate sin, and we are left feeling like outsiders in this world. However, Pastor JD encourages us to stand firm in the faith. Be courageous and have faith that we are doing the will of the Lord. Then God will honor our hope and faith and show His power through our lives.

It can be discouraging when we go through difficult trials. Sometimes we wonder if God wants good things for our lives. However, Pastor JD suggests in today's message that perhaps the Lord is protecting us from greater trials. The Lord is present in our sufferings, and He has promised to protect us through them.

In these last days that we live in, it's important that we continue to focus on the fact that no matter who is leading our country, the LORD is still on the throne. Today, Pastor JD teaches that Christians hold tightly onto their plans and forget that God's Will is best. When we forget this and go through trials, we question: where was God? We must remember that God sends us through trials to refine us. Like gold, we will go through fire, but we will eventually show forth His image and glory.
