It sounds harsh, but God instructs believers to cut off the defiantly rebellious sinner. The purpose of doing so is for the redirection of the unrepentant sinner and the protection of the church.

What does the Bible say about WILLFUL sin among believers? Today, Pastor JD explains how to rightly confront this type of sin within the body of Christ. We’re instructed to confront and remove unrepentant believers from fellowship in the power of the Holy Spirit; passing judgment in the flesh and tolerating willful sin doesn’t work.

Why is sin such a problem for God’s people? In today’s program, Pastor JD explains why our Creator has commanded us to turn away from sin. While often accused of wanting to withhold us from fun, God’s heart is to keep us from destruction. Satan seeks to destroy us, but the heart of God is always for the preservation of His people.

Unrepentant sin within the body of Christ creates a dilemma between believers. Christians have a choice to either confront willful sin or turn a blind eye to it. Willful sin should be expected from those outside the Church, but tolerance of this type should not be accepted amongst believers! Believers must be willing to risk relationships to lovingly respond willful sin.

Was there ever a time when you or someone you love received a stiff rebuke but ignored it? In our teaching with Pastor JD, we’ll hear the Biblical account of a man called Nabal; a proud man known for his arrogance. Nabal’s life came to sudden destruction because of his pride. Today, we’ll consider his stiff necked ways as well as our own.

How do people typically respond to a harsh rebuke? Just thinking about it may invoke a physical response! Although feelings may be wounded, loving confrontation can prevent greater harm.
