The most recent news is staggering! The initial massive amount of natural gas that was thought to be in Israel is now tripled. Pastor JD surmises that this could the hook in the mouth that brings the entire world right into the middle east...right around the nation of Israel. Russia simply will not tolerate Israel being the provider of natural gas to the European Union.

Why is it that major news sources ARE NOT offering hardly any coverage on the middle east right now? Is that because our country is consumed with the presidential election? Question...what if something were to happen and the election was postponed? What if the election never takes place? What if Jesus returns for us today?

Just like when Paul was talking to the Corinthian church. The world looked at them like they were fools. The same is true for us. Are you willing to stand boldly for the Lord?

Today we hear from Pastor JD that we can’t have it both ways. If we are friends of the world, then we are an enemy of God. If we are friends with God then we are an enemy of the world. As a church we need to simply teach the bible, break the bread and fellowship with one another. We don’t need to worry about competing with the world.

God wants us to be humble not prideful because pride is destructive to our lives. Today we learn from Pastor JD that sometimes it takes us being humiliated in order for that to be accomplished.
