Even a cursory glance at the stories in the Bible proves that God usually chooses the most unlikely vessels to do His will on earth. Pastor JD teaches us that the Lord uses the foolish things and people of the world so that no flesh can glory in His presence. Christians can only be boastful about one thing: Jesus Christ.

Today Pastor JD continues reviewing the prophetic importance of this past year, 2015. It was an amazing roller coaster year in terms of prophetic importance. The one fact that remains that we cannot ignore. The Bible teaches that Jesus will be returning for His Bride...some day. It could be TODAY, it could be TOMORROW...but, He IS returning!

n this final prophecy update of 2015, Pastor JD does a year in review. This year has been mind numbing in the prophetic importance of the events. From the legalization of same sex marriage to the nuclear deal with Iran, our sworn enemy, 2015 has had some astounding events. What will 2016 hold? One thing is for sure...Jesus will be on the throne!!!

When the Jews looked for Messiah, they expected a strong man to deliver them from Roman occupation. The Greeks expected God to come with great philosophies. However, Jesus came in meekness and endured the shame of the cross. Those of the world in their foolishness cannot reconcile Christ’s death with their expectations.

Paul writes in Corinthians that the message of the cross is foolishness to those that are perishing. Pastor JD explains that this translates into the world hating those that extol the saving work of the Lord at Calvary. Therefore, it can be tough to proclaim our faith. However, Jesus comforts us by saying that the world hated Him first before it hated us.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians to warn them against aligning themselves with prideful men instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor JD teaches us today that humility goes before wisdom and pride and haughtiness goes before a fall. Scripture reveals that whatever idols we hold dear will eventually fall prostrate to Jesus.

Pastor JD preaches a timely message today out of 1 Corinthians. In his letter to the church, Paul reproofs the Corinthians for the mistake of revering human wisdom and philosophy. We learn that man’s wisdom is utter foolishness in God’s eyes, and conversely, the wisdom of heaven is not understood by the carnal man.

Today Pastor JD will do something some what unorthodox for a Bible teaching program. He will be sharing verses from the Koran. Why, you might ask? Many are spreading the outright lie that Islam is a peaceful religion. Pastor JD will share VERBATIM from the Koran NUMEROUS verses that speak of murderous violence as part of the Muslim faith.

Why would a known supporter of an anti Israel group be the person that our president would select to light the candles of the Menorah at a Hannukah celebration at the White House? It's utterly baffling! And yet, that's exactly what happened in our nation's capital. The Nation of Israel was greatly disrespected in this act.

Jesus says that in order to follow Him, we need to pick up our cross and deny ourselves daily. This instruction of course goes completely against our fallen nature which craves recognition and applause. However, if we crucify our flesh, the Lord can use us and is glorified through the earthen vessels of our body.
