The Gospel of Jesus Christ must always begin with the fact that each and every person on the face of the earth is a sinner in need of a Savior. IF the Gospel is shared apart from this truth...well, it's not Gospel at all. You see, you must know that you NEED a Savior before you can accept your Savior.

Perhaps that's you listening today...you see God as hateful and vindictive God who can't wait to rain down His judgment upon you. Brother or sister in Christ, this is the God of the Bible. While He most certainly will judge the unrighteous...YOU have been made righteous by the shed blood of His Son...God loves you with an everlasting love.

Although this is getting a bit ahead in the text here in Romans...we know that the righteous requirements of the law have been fulfilled in those who walk according to the Spirit and NOT according to the flesh. You see, when you become born again you don't HAVE TO keep God's Law...by His grace and the power of His Spirit you WANT TO obey God's Law.

Although it would be easy to assume otherwise, Paul's letter to church in Rome is not to be seen as a bashing of God's Law! In fact, we'll learn that God's Law is absolutely perfect! So, what's the problem then? The problem is with you and I! Because of our sin nature we are utterly incapable of keeping God's Law.

So much is happening in the news right now that is leading us to believe that we are coming even closer to the very last days. Pastor JD will share a series of articles about what's happening around the world with a twist that will shock you! Again, the important thing to keep in mind is that you have no reason to fear if you've placed your faith in Jesus Christ.

Pastor JD spends some time in Ezekiel chapter thirty eight today. We'll learn this prophecy describes a time in the nation of Israel were prosperity and abundance is the norm. With the recent news of a massive discovery of natural gas in Israel...the already quite prosperous country will now be even MORE prosperous! Another sign of the time we're living in.

Pastor JD shares with us a great way to discern the difference between the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the condemnation of the enemy of our souls. What's the result? Do you feel drawn to God in a new and fresh way or do you feel like you need to hide from God. Conviction draws us to God while condemnation causes us to hide our sins.

The effect of grace on a person's life is the single most powerful element of our walk with God. You see, God's grace is the power of the New Covenant...although we most certainly will sin, God's grace empowers us to STOP sinning...it frees us from the bondage of sin...it causes us to walk in God's ways, to keep His statutes and judgments.

The Scriptures say...behold, our God is ONE! Today we will learn that because we are in Christ and Christ is in us, we can't be separated either...we are ONE in Him! This means that it is impossible to serve two masters. And while we will slip into sin, the proof of our salvation is that we don't practice the sins we once did.

Sexual intimacy is one of the most wonderful gifts that God has blessed us with...that is, when it's enjoyed within the confines of marriage! In this day and age in which we live sex has been so perverted, so demeaned that it's hard to tell the difference between what has been blessed by God and what is not.
