It seems like every time you turn on the television, listen to the radio, or open the newspaper...the nation of Syria is front and center. Today Pastor JD shares some astounding facts about the genocide that is taking place in that country. The estimated murdered citizens of that country number over seventy thousand!

Stop and ask yourself this question honestly...how do I feel when I sin? Am I remorseful and sick inside for disobeying God? Or am I happy I didn't get caught and I can't wait to do it again? You see, how you answer this question could very well determine your current eternal destiny. Grace is the power to OBEY, not disobey God's Word.

Pastor JD makes a bold statement today...in Christ you will sinless. Notice, I didn't say you will be sinless...but, that you will sin … … less. You see grace has been redefined to be a license to sin more in most cases. But, what we're learning from God's Word is that grace is actually the power of God to obey His Word.

The sin nature is ever present in our lives. And before we accepted Jesus as our LORD and Savior we did not have the power to say no to sin...we were slaves to sin. But, in Jesus...we have the power of the Holy Spirit which extends God's grace to us which causes us to walk in His ways and keep His commandments...this IS the New Covenant of grace!

So often we behave just like the trapped eagle that Pastor JD just described. We forget that by the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit, which is the grace of God, we now have a choice whether to sin or not. Before, we were utterly trapped by sin and obeyed our fleshly desires. But, in Jesus...we now have the power to say NO to sin.

President Barak Obama's historic visit to Israel during Passover was an event that caught the attention of many! And today Pastor JD zeroes in on two words that were repeated numerous times by President Obama and others during his visit...peace and security. These two words are part of a prophecy in the book of Zechariah chapter twelve that we'll consider today.
