If you've been walking with God for any length of time, you should have a strong desire to grow in that walk with Him. Today Pastor JD pinpoints what's necessary for growth to take place in our lives. It's the baptism of the Holy Spirit! We must have the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives in order to bear fruit unto God.

When God gave us the command to not bow down and serve any other god besides Him, He knew why. It's easy to make gods out of the things that this world has to offer. When we do this, we become idolaters. Pastor JD reminds us that when we do this...this puts distance between ourselves and God and it is NOT His will for our lives.

Pastor JD spends quite a bit of time today looking at the divine outline as shared in the book of Revelation. We'll learn that this entire book can be broken down into simple to understand sections.

Pastor JD takes us back to ground zero today...the foundation of our faith. We'll hear Pastor JD say...you can't experience the peace of God unless you FIRST have peace WITH God. And making peace with God can only happen by placing your faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

It's true, we DO live in a microwave society. We want everything and we want it now! While we wait for our Savior's return, we need to be mindful of slowing down and listening for the voice of God...especially when we're smack dab in the middle of a trial. If we listen for His voice, we will be able to persevere through it.

God helps those who help themselves...that's in the Bible right? Yep...chapter five verse three of the book of 2nd Opinions! And yet, countless people within the Body of Christ actually believe this! Why? Bottom line...most professing Christians simply don't know their Bibles. So, the question is...do they know the Savior?
