The DPWT European flagship event at Wentworth is in the books and it was a tournament with an outstanding field that generated real excitement, and a little heartbreak. Martin, Des and Chris discuss how events played out at Wentworth.

What a fantastic weekend of golfing drama, with both the Solheim Cup and the Irish Open to enjoy. Kudos to team Europe for winning back the Solheim Cup from team USA and doing it the hard way by winning the singles. Shane Lowry blew away the opposition at Doonbeg to record his second Irish Open Victory and improve an otherwise disappointing season. LIV Golf entered the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process and that enabled some actual insight to the dumpster fire that was their "business model". We look at all this plus more on this week's episode.

Although the ITFOG team signed off for the summer, the world of golf continues to watch LIV Golf's efforts to raise funding to survive past this season. We will be back with a podcast on their progress in the near future but until then we thought that listening to the story of LIV's origins and the reasons behind it's creation would be of interest to our newer listeners. The majors are in the bag, the FedEx playoffs are a few weeks away and so the team at ITFOG are signing off until early September to allow for some rest & relaxation.
