February 17, 2025Get It Into Your MindWhat we allow into our hearts and minds shapes the words we speak and the lives we live. The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue, and what we say flows from what we take in. That’s why it’s so important to guard what we listen to and watch. If you’re struggling in an area, try filling your life with things that glorify God—listen to Gospel music, watch content that draws you closer to Him, and speak His truth over your life. Even for a short time, give it a try. What do you have to lose? Sometimes, the breakthrough begins with a simple shift in focus.#GuardYourHeart #LifeAndDeathInTheTongue #SpeakLife #ChristianLiving #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. February 10, 2025You Anoint My Head With OilThe anointing of the head with oil isn’t just a poetic image; it carries a powerful meaning. Shepherds would anoint their sheep with oil to protect them from flies that could lay eggs in their noses. If untreated, those eggs would hatch, tormenting the sheep until it harmed itself by bashing its head against a rock.God does the same for us—His anointing protects us from the torment of lies, distractions, and spiritual attacks that try to invade our minds. But we must also take His Word, which is already in our hearts and mouths, and actively fill our minds with it. When God’s truth saturates our thoughts, it shields us from the traps that could lead us to harm ourselves spiritually.#AnointedByGod #SpiritualProtection #GodsWord #RenewYourMind #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. February 03, 2025Don't Miss God's CorrectionIt’s easy to think we’re walking in God’s will while ignoring the wisdom and correction He places right in front of us. We can be so focused on our own understanding or righteousness that we miss the people God sends to guide us back to His truth. Pride tells us, "God will show me," but humility listens to wise counsel and acknowledges when we’re off course. When someone lovingly corrects you with Scripture, pause and reflect—don’t shun the rebuke. God uses others to sharpen us, just as iron sharpens iron. True maturity isn’t being wise in our own eyes; it’s being willing to learn, grow, and align ourselves with His Word. #GodlyWisdom #HumbleHeart #IronSharpensIron #WalkInTruth #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. January 27, 2025Excuses - PrioritiesExcuses reveal what we truly prioritize. If we expect God to show up in miraculous ways on our terms, we’re likely to miss Him, because He doesn’t have to prove anything—His creation already testifies to who He is. When we seek Him, ask, and knock, He promises to meet us, but our hearts must be aligned with Him, not distracted by the temporary. If Jesus wanted to spend time with you, would He come first, or would you tell Him to wait? Our priorities reveal our hearts. Just like a car needs fuel to keep going, our spirits need to be refilled by spending time with God, whether through church, prayer, or time in His Word. You don’t have to, but without Him, you’ll find yourself spiritually stranded. For the weary and burdened, His rest is freely available—run to Him, and let Him restore you. #SeekHimFirst #NoMoreExcuses #SpiritualFuel #GodFirst #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. January 23, 2025Rebuking steps - Matthew 18v15-17When someone stumbles or sins, the Bible gives us clear steps for addressing it—with love, humility, and the goal of restoration. Sadly, many bypass these instructions, choosing instead to shame and rebuke others publicly, often from behind a screen. This isn’t God’s way. We are called to approach our brother or sister privately, to speak truth in love, and to bring witnesses if needed. Public exposure is a last resort, not a first response. Let’s strive to correct with grace, remembering that how we handle others reflects our own walk with Jesus. #SpeakTheTruthInLove #BiblicalCorrection #GraceAndTruth #UnityInChrist #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. January 13, 2025Love Like JesusTrue love is found in Jesus, and it’s only in His presence that we can be filled with the strength to love others the way He did. Loving like Jesus means going beyond just loving those who love us—it’s loving the difficult, the broken, and even those who may not love us back. Each act of love is a step toward becoming more like Him. Just as we grow through practice in any skill, we grow in love by continually choosing to love. Spend time with Jesus, let Him fill you, and then pour that love out to the world.#LoveLikeJesus #UnconditionalLove #InnerRoom #BeTheLight #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. January 06, 2025Happy New YearAs we step into a new year, it’s time to reflect on what truly matters. While we make our lists and set our goals, let’s ensure Jesus is not just part of them but at the very top. The world teaches us to prioritize those who prioritize us, but Jesus calls us to love unconditionally, just as He loves us. May this year be one of restoration, purpose, and walking in alignment with His will, knowing Him and making Him known.#NewYearWithJesus #UnconditionalLove #WalkInFaith #HappyNewYear #JesusLovesYou Hosted on Acast. December 16, 2024Outside of our UnderstandingGod’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours, and His power is limitless! Too often, we lean on our own understanding, which only limits what God can do in our lives. But the Bible reminds us to trust in the Lord, walk by faith, and believe in His ability to do exceedingly abundantly beyond what we can imagine. He’s the same God who makes the blind see, the lame walk, and the deaf hear. Let’s let go of doubt and step into His supernatural power!#TrustGod #WalkByFaith #GodIsAble #LimitlessPower #FaithOverUnderstanding Hosted on Acast.
