This episode features a conversation between Annie, Alyssa, and Kyler.
How do you unlearn something that you don’t even know is true about you? How do you unlearn something that was always subconsciously there? That requires a lot of unpacking and deep work.
I think that many of us aren’t aware of particular beliefs that we hold because they are so deeply embedded in us.
Annie and Alyssa share about what they have experienced thus far to move away from the beliefs that no longer feel aligned with them anymore and what is feeling more like their evolving truth.
I am so grateful these two lovely people shared a part of their wild!
My name is Shay Lara, I am a proud mother and wife who has been married for eleven years. I am a writer, painter and someone who enjoys giving advice on spiritual growth. Both my wife and I are the creators of Three Roots . I dedicate my life and work to spiritual evolution. I recently received a certification in Natural and Holistic Healing. Healthier alternatives are important to me because they are crucial to mental health which supports an individual’s ability to be emotionally, physically and spiritually balanced. My interactive journal, “The Roots of your Journey” is scheduled to be re-released Fall 2021. The journal will provide 30 days of space, guidance and motivation which is essential for self-work. I believe spiritual paths are not destinations but, journeys. I plan to pack light and enjoy my journey. I practice steps such as recall, release and rebuild. There is nothing in the existence of life that can stop my travels during my spiritual journey. For as long as I can consciously connect with spirit and energy, I will forever experience my very own spiritual evolution. I look forward to the energy exchange with like minded individuals.

PMDD is physical, psychological, and emotional pain in the premenstrual (or luteal) phase of the menstrual cycle. After studying and sharing yoga for nearly a decade, the onset of the pandemic pushed me to move online, at which time I decided to focus on teaching menstruators with PMDD how to persevere using yoga! 1 in 20 women have PMDD and may not know it, so my truth is to share my experience and what I know to be helpful! Yoga for PMDD is about sharing accessible practices for managing PMDD while honoring the difficulty of living with a cyclical chronic illness. Welcome to the podcast, In the Midst of Our Wild. I’ve been on a journey myself to voice my truth with confidence for some time now. We all experience adversity and obstacles in different ways. So I created this podcast to fight for the underdogs; to give truth-speakers a voice; to celebrate diversity and inclusiveness; and to inspire unlearning what we’ve known and to relearn what’s uniquely true for us. Speaking truth from my inner-core and listening to others has been by far the most healing thing in my personal journey. So this podcast provides a way for people to speak their story. And I think you may resonate with these stories in some way or another. Let’s have a listen.
