Yes the big day is here, we hope everyone is as excited for us as we are to make this move over to a 24/7 radio program allowing us much more time to bring many special on location broadcast and so much more.

Election 2016 will start of with a big bang tonight in CHarleston, SC as the GOP contenders gather for what I believe will be the best "Debate" to date. Donald Trump better be prepared for an all out assault by everyone else on stage. Ted Cruz needs to take advantage of this debate to find his place in the SC Christains hearts. For Bush, Rubio and the others, top of their game or out of the game. Other topics: Have schools gone absolutely PC Bonkers? Quack,quack for Cruz. President Obama's SOTU address had it's moments (some not as bad as the others). In all honesty I feel he did a pretty good job at establishing his legacy. The GOP's decision to ask South Carolina's Governor Nikki Haley was a brilliant move. How will the 2016 Presidential Candidates react to Obama's presentation? What's next for Nikki Haley?  What do you think about these issues? What I really want to hear is how you would suggest I spend my forthcoming lottery winnings? Lovers and haters of President Obama will be watching his final State of the Union Address to Congress (and the rest of the World). Don't know about you, but I have a regurgitation bowl ready just in case. A Federal Judge, appointed by Obama, dismisses ssome of the Email Lawsuits against Hillary Clinton. Iowa prepares for for what may be a record turnout for their upcoming Caucus. Oh, there was also a real football game last night as Alabama and Clemson took to the field. These issues and more will be discussed today "In the Pickle Barrel". Another Monday and the craziness surrounding the POTUS election continues to grow. Trump bypasses big event in South Carolina giving other contenders a day in the spotlight and at the mic slamming the GOP leading candidate. One candidate declares Trump will be beat like a drum in another event. Country Western legend comes out in support of Trump. Trump is diagnosed with "ailment" that could cost him the election. In addition, President Obama will be telling Americans and the world what great things he has accomplished and foresees as the outgoing POTUS. In addition, Obama is sure to share to expect if the horrible GOP replaces him in the White House (which brings another up question relating to Trumps ailment). Isn't amazing how fast time flies by? Seems like yesterday we were talking about the Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire GOP ticket selections being 18 months down the road. During the same period we discussed how women corporate leaders were so underpaid compared to their male counterparts. And with great dismay we addressed the fact terroistsare real, they are in this country, they are out to kill us and we must find a way to stop them. Today we are going to take a reality check. Remember this famous movie promotion: "Just when you thought it was safe to get in the water..."? This comment just about descibes the 2016 Presidential Race. Politicians in every corner thought it was time to jump in the water and swim to the White House.Tthey had the answer to all of American voters' concerns. Well, guess again. In another arena we have candidates of the same Party nose-to-nose taking swings at each other. To make things even more confusing the fighters' sponsors (the GOP) are squabbling amongst themselves on who they want to win the Championship Belt. Now throw in the third problem facing this wierd gameplan; it appears the ticket holders (aka voting party members) do not know what the fight is all about or who they really want to win. As this mess continues, the real opponent in the the Presidential race (Hillary Clinton)  is simply smiling.

There is not a name under the sun that has not been thrown out to define politics and politicians. If so many people hate the politics/politicians are so hated and distructed, why are we all involved in this dirty rotten game? Do you know anything immune being turned into a political conversation? Politics is certainly full of the so called good, bad and ugly found in all of us.

Holiday vacation is over and  we are back "In the Pickle Barrel". No better way to start the New Year of 2016 than reviewing 2015 and anticipating our future in 2016. President Obama will go bonkers while trying to construct his "legacy". At the same time he will be driving the American people crazy. Hold on to your seats for a very wild ride on the GOP Presidential trail, expected actions on the economy, jobs, gun control, climate, women equality, E-cigarettes, Gitmo, ISIS, Russia, China (heck way to much to mention).
