In their wisdom of creating our Constitution they attempted to control the extremes that could be harmful to the infant union of states called  The United States of America. Looking at the condition of the US political arena the question has to be asked...are we endangering the "Great Compromise"?

Breazeale hopes to get out of "the Pickle Barrel" and into the State House Chamber.  District 63 has experienced some turnover in the past twelve months with the resignation of Dr. Kris Crawford and the special election of local attorney Jay Jordan.

An experienced officer at least twice the size of the student decided that the best way to deal with her quiet, nonviolent refusal to give up a cellphone and leave the room was to grab her by the neck, flip her over her desk, and drag her along the floor. Was this an overreaction? Is this the big issue that is plaguing our society? Why does it continue to happen?

    Watching the GOP contenders for POTUS reminds me of watching a dog chase it's tale...they never catch hold nor learn anything from their efforts. South Carolina's February 27th GOP Primary is the first in the South and is included in the top three must win primaries. No GOP contender has gone on to win the White House without a South Carolina victory since 1980. That said, where are the candidates? Oh yes, don't forget the small towns. They also vote.
