One of the cases comes from Dan J of Barstow, California, who had a frightening run-in with two eerie entities back in early 2011. Those figures match what many in the paranormal world call Shadow People.

The Official Shadow People Archives describes them as dark silhouettes that often look human but carry no clear features. Some wear what look like hats or hoods. Some appear solid while others drift like smoke. Some float from the waist up. Others sprint out of sight with visible legs. They slip into corners, walls, closets, behind TVs, or vanish into the night. The only trait they all share is an almost impossibly deep darkness.
