In this Episode we discuss the doctrine of election. That is that God chooses to select those he chooses. As it is God's choice. God chooses people whom we would often regard as poor choices. People like Gideon hiding out in a cave from the Midianites and with a view of himself as belonging to the least family in his tribe. Jesus also chose for disciples fisherman and tax collectors. In this episode we also discuss the command for separation. God called Abraham to separate from his family and his country to fulfill the calling of God. Jesus also teaches us to place Him above all else.

Abraham was perhaps the most well known of the Patriarchs. he was called by God to leave his country and his family to go to a land god would show him. Follow this series on Abraham as it reveals how a life of obedience and faith before God will bring blessing and honour in our lives as it did for Abraham.

Following the flood God established a new covenant with Noah and his three sons. He lifted the curse from the earth that had come with the fall of Adam and made the work of growing food challenged by curse of thorns. God promised as long as the earth was there would be seedtime and harvest, day and night, summer and winter. God also promised to never again flood the earth to destroy all life and gave the sign of the rainbow to confirm His promise to mankind.

Noah was called a Preacher of Righteousness because he preached to the people a message of repentance for 120 years while he and his sons built the Ark according to the plan of God. It speaks of the need of faithfulness in our time to preach Gospel of Jesus Christ to our generation with boldness. So that people might repent and enter the Ark of Christ the only way of salvation from the certainty of a coming judgement uoon the earth.

In Part 2 of "The Faith of Noah we will be looking into Noah's work of Faith in his obedience to build the Ark. Despite any knowledge or understanding of shipbuilding Noah successfully built the Ark by carefully following the instructions God gave to him. This speaks to us of trusting the Word of God for guidance and direction in life so that we might live and not die and prosper and be in health, and see our households saved.

Hebrews 11:7 "By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household. by which he condemned the world." Noah was moved by the word of God he recieved concerning the coming judgement of a great flood. Faith requires us the believe without seeing. The scripture says "...he was warned of things not yet seen..." One of the things not yet seen on the earth was rainfall. Faith always requires us to trust the Word of God above our natural sense of sight. This episode as well as Part 2 look into Noah's faith journey to fulfill the plan of God.

In Part 2 of The Days of Noah we look into the deterioration of the marriage covenant established by God with Adam and Eve. One of the end time prophecies Jesus mentions in His prophetic comparison between the The Days of Noah and the End Times we are now living is marriage. In our generation is the perversion of marriage along with a growing darkness as sin increasingly spreads through the population is clearly seen. God saw that men's thoughts were continually given over to evil. This episode is important knowledge for our time to understand the urgency of being true to the gospel of Christ in our lives and seeking opportunity to share the love of God that is in Chris Jesus.

Jesus spoke to His disciples on the Mount of Olives in the week leading up to His arrest, death and resurrection. The asked Him "What would be the signs of his return?" Jesus pointed them to the Noah's time as similar time to the time leading up to His return. That means its important to understand the signs in our time that are like the signs leading up to the flood of Noah that left only the 8 souls of Noah's family.

Enoch received a profound prophecy of the coming flood that would take place in the time of his great grandson Noah. This prophecy as we learned caused Enoch to walk with God in a deeper relationship which resulted in his translation to heaven. Enoch also received another very profound prophecy recorded in the Book of Jude. This prophecy was an end time prophecy of the second coming of Jesus Christ. returning on The Day of The Lord with His saints.

Hebrews 11:5-6 Says that... "By faith Enochwas taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”;for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 Butwithout faith it is impossible to please Him, for he whocomes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of thosewho diligently seek Him.”

Enoch's life was dedicated to walking with God. His walk with God created a deepening love for God which continued for 300 years at which time God translated him body, soul, and spirit to heaven and the eternal presence of God. What an awesome thought. Enoch did not pass through death but went directly by miraculous translation. This is one of the most profound events recorded in the Bible. This episode explores the source of Enoch's faith to believe God for this miracle of translation.
