A new study published in the Journal of Community Health suggests suicide rates for African-American youth are skyrocketing and is the second leading cause of death for African American teens. The research was done and article completed by Jagdish Khubchandani and James Price. Their findings suggest the root of adolescent suicide is firearms in the home and lack of access to mental health care.
Speaking with 3 NYC teens, one being the co-host, they have a completely different perspective.
