Inaya Folarin Iman is a British journalist of Nigerian descent and the director and founder of the Equiano project, a forum to promote freedom of speech and open dialogue on race and identity. In 2019, she ran for parliament for the Brexit Party.
Inaya is a major critic of the Black Lives Matter movement, believing that it essentialises black people as inherent victims of white oppression, and thus, undermines human agency and sours relations between different racial groups.
