Greetings and salutations. I just came off one of the most excellent weekend visits with my adorable and brilliant wife. And I believe the reason this visit was so amazing was the level of honesty and communication that we were able to achieve is beyond what we have ever had before. There was a little family drama in the week working up to the visit which gave me some high anxiety on how to deal with it. Join me as I expose some real, raw, and relevant issues I am dealing with on a very personal and revelatory episode of the Indecisive podcast.

21 January happens to be the birthday of one of my all-time favorite comedians, Alfred Hawthorne Hill aka Benny Hill so I thought it would be fitting to do a tribute. I have very fond memories of watching his show as a youngin and just laughing my ass off and the lingerie wearing ladies were a nice bonus ;) . His style of comedy definitely hit the mark for me back then and I did a quick rewatch of a few episodes and to me, they still hold up. Slapstick and physical comedy is a very difficult style to keep funny, and the master Benny has a 40+ year career of outstanding performances in both music and TV shows. So join me as I reflect on the life of Benny Hill Wikipedia page  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benny_Hill

The Wishing Well sketch rated as #1 by viewers in the Is Benny Hil Still Funny? documentary

Hello everyone. We recorded this episode back in November just after the election. The topic of discussion is the recent awakening to racial and social inequality in our country. We are seeing changes in popular culture such as movies, TV shows, and comic book characters where the role of hero or protagonist is being represented as a person of color, female, LGBTQ, and varying physical and mental disabilities. From over the top Django Unchained to the imaginative Into the Spiderverse, join MZ, Javi G, and Germball23 for our Indecisive attempt at a real issue.

Cannabis. Hemp. How has a plant that is considered one of the oldest crops cultivated by mankind and has been used medicinally for thousands of years become vilified and restricted legally? Join me as we review an article outlining the history of cannabis and how our country has created a dangerous black market and screwed up so many lives through a misguided war on drugs.

Are you a current or former coffee drinker? Do you know the interesting history behind this fascinating bean? I was raised without access to this forbidden brew but have recently begun partaking in its glorious effects. Let's see what's going through my noggin' on this episode of magical elixir. I had the extreme honor to spend an evening with some pretty fun folks on one of my trips to Denver. I was searching for a dispensary that carried a specific strain of CBD Flower and found it at a dispensary called Rollup located at 4500 Washington St., Denver, CO 80216. The budtender there, Calo, was very helpful in filling my order. In our exchange, I invited him to the podcast and he over-delivered by setting up a fantastic group of individuals that really know their business. I was so impressed with not only their knowledge of their industry but also their dedication to each other. To be able to find a job in an industry that you like is very rare these days but it's good to see folks when they do find that rare opportunity to work at something they love every day.

Shout out to Roll Up and the following folks that helped make this a great interview: Calo, Fish, Nick Bliss, Chloe, and Kristal. And also shout out to Big Larry aka Colorado Fatts who wasn't able to join us for the interview but holds it down with the rest of the folks at Rollup. This team of Cannabis Avengers definitely deserves your attention next time you are in the neighborhood.

Somebody Get Me a Doctor by Van Halen live - https://youtu.be/BE1u2xwrSGA

As is the case now in the USA, the end of the year is time to choose your health insurance provider. If you participate in the Healthcare Marketplace as established by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010 open enrollment starts in November and ends on December 15. If you've been through this ordeal then I hope it was easier than my experience. After multiple phone calls and website visits, I have come to the conclusion that some things are made overly complicated on purpose. If people cannot understand something they tend to ignore it. And I think our colossal failure as a society to establish health care as a right and not a privilege is one of those issues. I have heard conservatives use an example of too many people in the boat and someones has to get thrown into the ocean scenario so many times in the past referring to socialized medicine. But that's exactly what our health care system has turned into now with profits being the determining factor. If the health insurance premiums cost as much as your rent or mortgage then I think there is a problem. Especially considering that the $1,300 monthly premium amount is for a health care plan that doesn't cover anything until you've paid the $8,500/$17,100 deductible. $15,600 in total annual premium and I still have to pay out of my own pocket up to $17,100 before my health insurance kicks in?!? This is insane.

I have tried to make this all as entertaining as possible. It is a boring subject but as mentioned above I think we have all ignored this for too long. People get sick. People get hurt. Our civilization has advanced to a place where so many physical ailments can be remedied but only if you can afford it. This seems very uncivilized to me. What do you think? Ain't No Mountain High Enough - the great Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IC5PL0XImjw - With a new year comes new opportunities to reach for greater things in our lives. Whether you set goals or just wing it, try and reflect on how your life is going at least once per year. I've set a few goals for myself that I'll share. Have you set any new goals or commitments?

Mountain climbing and trail hiking can be a very fulfilling way to spend a weekend. If there are not any mountains in your area, you can still get close to nature in a local hiking trail or neighborhood park. Enjoy some fresh air and listen to what nature has to share with you.

Lastly, the commotion that occurred at the federal capital on Jan. 6, 2021, was from what I have seen a coordinated and sanctioned demonstration that does more to widen the divide in this country than heal its wounds. Sadly, I think more division is on the horizon.
