Violet takes a dump!

Do you like making music? Are you good at coding? Can you do both under the watchful eyes of a crowd full of people? Then algorave music might be for you! Violet discusses algorave- a name describing a genre of music made live, entirely by coding. She talks about the origins of electronic music, and how this relatively new genre came to be in 2011. She also plays around with making her own algorave tunes, and plays us a sample of her first attempt!

Brianne takes a solo dump!

Did you know that the term "executive function" actually includes 12 separate skills? Did you know that not everyone is good enough at all of these to manage everything on their own, and that's a capitalist lie you're being sold?

In this episode, Brianne discusses the 12 skills that make up the concept of "executive function," and discusses ways you can either improve your ability in these areas, or accommodate for yourself on things that disability means you simply can't improve.

Brianne Takes a Dump!

Brianne tries out a new, occasional format for her dumps- It's a book report! Brianne gives her opinion on a small selection of books she's read this year- books that made her feel either overwhelmingly positive, or a white, hot rage.

Books discussed in this episode are:

• I'm Glad my Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
• Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice
• Awake by Dr. Dan Siegel
• Letters to my Weird Sisters by Joanne Limburg
• Cultish by Amanda Montell
• Autistic Thinking by Dr. Alondra Rogers

It's Mini Dumps!

Brianne dumps about Point Nemo- the most inaccessible point in the South Pacific. She also dumps about Lake Baikal- the 25 million year old Siberian lake, that a very small and precious seal calls home.

Violet talks about a special confluence of events and people's lives, that *COULD* have happened in 1865. (if Violet had her way) She also discusses piezoelectricity- which sounds like magic, but it's not. Can squeezing rocks generate electricity? It can! (under very exact circumstances)

Violet takes a dump!

Inspired by a conversation about weird units of measurement in our Discord server, Violet talks about long forgotten units of measurement that fell by the wayside when the metric system came about. Batman makes an appearance! We also learn about "domestic sludge". Knowing that Hello Kitty is actually a little British girl who is 5 apples tall and weighs 3 apples, Violet posits the potential mutations she must possess, to manage to survive while being the same density as cork.
