Brianne takes a solo dump!

This is a special episode, suggested by one of Brianne's clients. Do you want to understand autistic communication better? Brianne is here to help!

Brianne covers some of the facets of communication and autistic traits that affect the way we communicate. The goal of this episode is for an autistic person to be able to send it to an allistic loved one, to facilitate better and deeper communication and understanding.

Brianne takes a dump!

Inspired by a conversation in the Mixgnomer Discord Server, Brianne talks about the basics of weight lifting! She's not a personal trainer or a doctor of liftology, just an autistic bitch who loves lifting weights. She talks about the biological adaptations that happen when you lift different amounts of weight, the myriad reasons you might want to lift weights that have NOTHING to do with how much you, and the basics of starting your own lifting routine. She discusses how much protein you should aim for when lifting, and she answers some weight lifting questions from our buds on Instagram and the Mixgnomer Discord server.

Max takes a dump!

Max is in his final year of dental school, and came to school us about teeth. He talks about ways you can make the dentist easier as an autistic person, shares some fun facts about historical dentistry, and he solves the 32 year old mystery of why Violet was born without wisdom teeth and one of her adult premolars. Learn about how dentists getting stoned for shits and gigs got us anesthesia, how a devious dentist invented cotton candy, and how you're supposed to clean the outside bones that live in your mouth.

Mini Dumps!

This is a weird one. Violet had 2 dogs she wanted to talk about, and Brianne has a meandering (yet worthwhile), medium sized dump about polygamy. We don't have an episode format called "medium dump" (yet), so here polygamy topic is sandwiched between two dogs. The first dog, Pickles, is a British hero and BASICALLY a private eye.

Brianne talks about polygamy present in part of her heritage, and tries to find a civilization that lives the same, bisexual love fest she lives every day, as a polyamorous lady. Finally, we talk about the little pink guy from Nowhere, Kansas- Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Violet takes a dump!

Don't let the episode title fool you, there's more than malapropisms: eggcorns, dogberryisms, yogisms, mondegreens, malaphors, generonyms, and more! Violet talks about all of the ways we fuck up words, both deliberately and accidentally, and how those fuck ups can lead to permanent language changes. This sounds like it would have been a Brianne epiosde, huh? We tricked you. Violet goofed you. She's the linguist now.

Brianne takes a Dump!

What if we told you that Mulder and Skully could get called to investigate Alf? What if we told you that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is in the same universe as Frasier? What if a xenomorph stopped by Cheers to get a drink? Enter: The Tommy Westphall Universe! It's an entire universe of interconnected televisions shows, born out of a single scene of a non-speaking autistic child.

Brianne talks about the universe born out of the final scene of the 80's medical drama, St. Eslewhere. She talks about how a single episode of The X-Files doubled the size of this universe, with an episode about cigarettes.

Brianne and Violet take some dumps! It's a mini-dump episode!

Brianne dumps about bufotenine- the psychedelic compound found in some toads- and also autistic peoples' pee? What? Violet talks about a void- not a spiritual or emotional void, a literal void. Violet talks about Boötes Void, and technically, that means she's talking about nothing- but we swear it's interesting. Brianne talks about a very good, rare dog, who is low on hair and high on cuteness. Violet talks about chess variants, and where chess came from. (It might be Warhammer's grandpa?)

Brianne takes a solo dump!

Brianne talks about some core concepts and tips to keep in mind, when you're an AuDHDer trying to build a routine. AuDHD brains need both predictability and novelty- they need structure while not having too many demands. How tf are you supposed to balance what both neurotypes need? Brianne shares some tips that have worked for her and her clients, and she breaks down what a routine is and is not.

She talks about how to start building routines in a way that's kind to your brain, and how to be gentle to yourself along the way.

Violet takes a dump!

Violet shares all she learned in her deep dive about the Paralympics. She talks about the history of the event, the sports exclusive to disabled players, the pretty shitty stuff the athletes have to go through to qualify, and the sweet changes they make to traditional versions of sports to make them accessible. We learn about Goalball, Boccia, and the most badass, MadMax ass sport- wheelchair rugby.
