After rumors of the illness and possible passing of the Founding President, the Presidency dispelled the rumors as nonsense, of course the show reacts to it all. Plus some quotes from three former Attorney Generals on the request by the, now incarcerated, former Justice Minister Sacky Shanghala, for the state to foot his legal defense bill in the #Fishrot case.

We kick off the Friday with a long distance phone call to Germany. We chat to musician Ees about his new song titled 'Chooser', which is also accompanied by a video. The song is about combating SGBV, an issue which is becoming more and more concerning by the day in Namibia. We also touch a bit on the Fishrot scandal as another SWAPO MP, Tobie Aupindi, gets caught in the ever-growing net of implicated politicians and people with close links to the centers of power within the party.

The looming Air Namibia liquidation dominates the news for the day once again, as GRN stands firm in its decision in the face of protests from various groups around the country, including some opposition leaders. Neville & Q also discuss the month of February, which is proving to be much tougher than January financially. Then Q looses it when reacting to Deputy Prime Minister, Netumbo Ndaitwa's comments, placing the blame for the flailing Air Namibia at the feet of the Apartheid Regime, which ended over 3 decades ago. WHAT?

We manage to get through almost the whole show without mentioning Air Namibia. The show starts with reaction to Barcelona's stinging UEFA Champions League defeat to PSG in Catalunya. Liverpool also bagged an away away victory with a 2-0 win at RB Leibzig. As always, we also touch on some of the burning issues of the day, and yes, that unfortunately means a little bit of Air Namibia as well.

The crew analysis more reaction to the closing of the national airline after 30 years of running at a loss. We also discuss homophobia and SGBV, after an intoxicated security guard assaulted a man as he tried to enter his apartment complex in his female performance attire.

We close off the week with a surprise studio guest. Lazarus Jacobs joins the crew for a chat about his new book, 'Gone Native'. The book is a collection of Jacobs' newspaper articles over the years, giving a satirical overview of Namibian politics over the last 3 decades or so. Lazarus also addresses some of the rumors about him Neville has been spreading on the show.

With many theories swirling the decision, some pointing fingers at the Minister of SOE's Leon Jooste and First Lady Monica Geingos, the crew attempts to separate fact from fiction. We show solidarity with the nearly 700 employees of the airline who are set to be out of work.

Previously  he was Head of the Namibia Directorate of Environmental Affairs (DEA) in the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and played a key role in  drafting the environmental clauses in the Namibian Constitution.
