We talk about the difference between envy and jealousy, the roots of envy, and how to try and avoid falling into the sin in the first place. Continuing through the 7 deadly sins, this time AJ and Brandon are looking at the sin of greed. Greed is still a matter of desire, not totally different from gluttony. How do we avoid an over attachment to things? Why do we so often tie up our value and worth in the possession of things?

Everyone gets angry, even Jesus. What is it that separates a righteous, holy anger from the deadly sin of wrath? How do we move past our desire for vengeance to offering forgiveness? And why is it so important for us to forgive?

This week, AJ and Brandon discuss the sin of gluttony. It's important to remember that the things in this world will never be able to fully satisfy us, they are means an end, and if we lose sight of that, we'll just chase those temporary tastes of joy and never get the real thing.

I am constantly told that I need to "grind." To me, that sounds like doing something so repetitive that it wears me down. I don't want to grind, but I do want to work hard. I want to see my vision and drive towards it. I want to learn those lessons. I want to grow into the person who will achieve that goal. To be that person, I have to work hard.

This week, AJ and Brandon begin taking a look at the 7 Deadly Sins, starting with one that AJ is very familiar with, sloth. Sloth isn't always about not doing things, but gets more to the question of not doing what needs to be done.

After so much time talking about getting ready for Easter, you know AJ and Brandon had to take some time to welcome Easter and discuss how to live it out. This week, we talk about the idea of dying to sin and living in Christ and the importance of giving ourselves the grace to continue improving instead of demanding perfection immediately.
