  • CMSM | Infinite Worlds of Worry
PLEASE NOTE, the below text is an unedited automatic transcript of the session. There are undoubtedly an enormous amount of grammatical and format errors.
Welcome to Cascais meditation and spiritual musings. The title for this week is infinite worlds of worry and opportunity to explore the adorable innocence of the mind’s determination to find something to worry about. And so we’ll have an opportunity to explore that and bring a good amount of compassion to the minds and insanity and overall just relax. We’ll start with a 10 or 15 minute guided meditation. And from there we will share some insight and wisdom. So let’s just relax.
    START OF MEDITATION
This meditation is going to extend an invitation to let go of worry
and as we rest here in this space, we’re going to acknowledge the most simple of things.
we’re going to invite ourselves into presence.
and the doorway to such a relaxation is to acknowledge the movement of the mind and yet also acknowledged what’s actually happening. And in this we can come on to what’s real
we can honor the breath that breathe
in every moment you notice the mind wander. It’s simply an opportunity to come back to this moment. A gentle acknowledgement of, Oh yeah, here I am.
we can make contact with a sincerity within ourselves that can ask, is there anything to worry about right now?
yeah, sure. The mind can imagine many things tomorrow.
the mind can try and bring yesterday into today
but yet in looking at what’s real
maybe we can recognize that right now there’s no need Tori
and so even if it is just for this moment
we can gift ourselves a space that is free of worry. We can finally breathe.
please see that this was a gift that you give to yourself.
    permission to be present.
    permission to be still
    permission to not know
let’s recognize that this moment needs nothing
    everything that this might need
    is already given.
Even the breath needs nothing as the breath is already given
In order for you to be here right now, nothing is needed in this. We can recognize the alignness of what you are, the truth of, what you are as abundantly taken care of right now. And of course this has been the truth your entire life, the realness of what you are taking care of. And we can see very clearly that that arrest in this moment right now where you are is whole.
    It’s complete,
    not missing anything.
to such degree we can look back on our lives and see that there was never anything to worry about.
you’ve always been taken care of
in order for you to be here right now, you have gotten everything you needed.
this invites us to connect with a trust
the trust in that which has provided a trust in that which has carried you through
    a trust in life itself.
and as an energy of worry might look into the future, we can recognize that this worry simply projects limitation, afraid that something might go wrong.
and in this moment we can acknowledge the truth of the matter and that is if there’s worry, we’re just scared.
in the most adorable way. We are scared that life might stop being a miracle. That is super cute.
notice the adorable quality of this worry, a worry that imagined you might be separate from life
and in this space we can extend a love, a kindness, compassion for that fear
the fear that imagined yourself to be separate, that imagines yourself to be disconnected from this miracle and we can see throughout our whole lives it’s always been an innocent misunderstanding. Ultimately to find out there is nothing to worry about
    until we can relax
which is not to push away worry, but the whole space for it. Knowing that it’s just a misunderstanding about what’s real
you can see that if we push away the worry, we’re simply worried about or worry
no need to fear the fear

  • CMSM | Nature of Focus
Show summary: In this moment, it is vital to recognize the truth, to surrender the guilt brought from the past and the worries from the future. Allow this invitation from Tiger Singleton to redirect your focus to the present and devote yourself to the truth. What is genuine devotion? What is deep focus? These questions and much more are answered in this episode of Cascais Meditation and Spiritual Musings.
Welcome to Cascais Meditation and Spiritual Musings!
Honored once again to take a moment and checked in. The topic is focus and devotion. It is a subject matter I am excited to explore the parallels of humanness which is focus and spiritual thing which devotion. Recognize the beauty of that they can’t be separated.
Format: guided meditation, spontaneous rambles of spiritual insight focus and devotion and engage in questions and dialogues.
    Start of meditation
    (Moments of silence)
So often we miss the power of presence and the power of stillness and the invitation of meditation is to connect such space that reminds us of great strength.
For a short time, allow yourself to come home to presence and invite space of stillness.
This doorway connects within ourselves to see deeply from where we are. It is a great allowing of what it is – every noise, sensation and heartbeat.
All is surrendered, all is allowed.
We take a moment to discern and acknowledge what is real even if the mind wonders here or there, backward or forward.
We can acknowledge reality of right now. Within the mind, the noise, and commotion, is this space right now.
Allow yourself to melt into what is real while releasing what is not.
I invite you to recognize an internal quiet space – nothing to say, just allowing.
Recognize space is undisturbed by all the noise
Unconcerned about what might arise/fall for everything is allowed.
    (Moments of silence)
Notice in this quiet space, there is no concern, no problem to be solved.
I just invited you to see to connect such presence, to feel in the depth of willingness, to perceive and welcome love that embraces.
A profound openness from life to life. The visual I get to explore such is the sun looking above to the earth saying, “Let me see you.” This is the openness, “Let me see”.
    (chime)
    End of meditation bell.
The opportunity of focus and devotion, we can playfully explore this in a human context how every life’s subtle invitation is brought by pain in feeling something which is opposite of focus. Let’s explore this perceived opposite. In my experience, it is loud when focus is distant, almost impossible to attend to what is in front of me. The mind is disturbed in 10,000 things from the past and future. I can only focus now. Not focus on the future. Focus is what’s happening now, bringing being into movement that it’s allowing distraction to fade, allowing to surrender which is not here. Something within self-focus is engaged.
Human beings are distracted by a mental commentary based on fear. When we are not focused, we are afraid. Recognition of focus is to love. Focus in giving your attention fully is a beautiful illustration of love. What is the fear to distract us? I think, simply it is, recognizing the sense of inadequacy, a concern we will fail. Why try? Why focus when it results in failure?
Naturally, it points to a human confusion which is a misunderstanding where we are in life to get something. We engage in focus because of a prize in the future. Fear arises because of this, because we believe we are not enough.
So, this is an invitation to focus. Not to get something in the future but as an opportunity to see presence as an opportunity. See this as a love shared between two people. Do you see the disingenuity of a nature of love that says, “I love you right now so I can get something from you in the future?” It is not genuine love at all. Why would love arise? A love that sees love. We explore seeing things as they truly are.

  • CMSM – Everything is FOR You
In this episode of Cascais Meditation and Spiritual Musings, Tiger Singleton invites us to dig deep into the nature of the topic, “Everything is for you.”
You are invited to reflect on
What is life? How does it relate to, “Everything is for you”? What is the role of the ego? What can we do when we are hurt in a relationship? Should we just let go of the person or should we just let go of what we wanted and stay in the relationship? How can we approach the situation where a person wants to cut off a relationship after a disagreement?
Format: Meditation, Ramblings and Q and A
    Meditation:
Tiger starts the episode with a meditation that recognizes the essence of breathing. Breath allows life to be life. It supports, nurtures and makes possible the present moment. When we recognize that the more we come in contact of the truth and realness of the moment, we begin to touch upon life itself. He lets us see that to be alive is the miracle.
As we begin to see we are given the gift already, there is love and joy beginning to emerge. For those who are open, they recognize the love they are looking for is already at the present.
Tiger also invites us to look within ourselves, to recognize the profound truth that what we are looking for and anxiously searching is an expression of love. The expression of wholeness, gratitude, and all qualities we craved for are all flavors of love. In our core, we desire for love to flow, be seen and felt. It is the genuine experience of being human.
    What is life?
Tiger says that life is a discovery of what is true. It offers the opportunity to see deeply in ourselves that there is nothing to capture or feel something is missing. When we recognize this truth, love begins to flow. There is nothing to hold on but the profound appreciation of life.
This deep appreciation of wholeness is the purest form of love. It is a kind of love that is the depth of honoring where deep inside us is a willingness to bow and celebrate. The spiritual teaching is to connect to such a love, wake up to who we are, and to let us see that we are untouched by this world.
He adds that everything that happens is for truth to be seen. The human experience is an opportunity to wake up to see the truth. This realization will make our hearts smile and show us that everything makes sense. Then, our hearts become devoted to such discovery and we lose interest in the mind’s condition of becoming something and in attaining much in the world.
How does it relate to, “Everything is for you”?
Tiger explains that the human experience that touches us, gives us emotional experience and the world we experience are created thru what we see.
When we experience love, it is seen from the inside projected outward which we also go through when we feel we lost or miss something. We experience our projection of it, too.
He further explains that our life is intimate inside our being. Everything that exists in life, exists inside of us. We only imagine they are outside but the more we recognize that all is inside us, we begin to let go of what we hold on, blame, or expect outside.
Practically speaking, when we experience something, we may perceive it as a boon or blessing. Is it for or against us? Tiger says that what we experience is how we are interpreting it. If we believe it is against us, we build defenses. We create a line of separation so it can’t get us. However, when we believe it is for us, we are open, welcoming and thankful for it.
The truth is nothing is against us. We only create such belief. Tiger adds that everything serves as an awakening for us.
Everything that has bothered us allows us to see the truth that we can’t hold on to what we want. Such discovery comes from a painful or uncomfortable experience. It is for us to face the truth and when we get honest about that, we learn to let go of what is not, which is anything that disturbs our wellness, peace, joy and love.

  • CMSM – All is Forgiven In the Illusion
Transcript – Cascais Meditation & Spiritual Musings
(Caution: The below is an unedited transcript. It’s likely to have many errors and inconsistencies.)
My friends, there’s a fundamental misunderstanding in the spiritual journey that makes this way too difficult, pointed to in the meditation- It’s the idea that you have to do something. It’s the idea that it’s not already done and the whole foundation, the whole basis of spirituality is to point you in a direction of seeing what’s true, not what you must do or must not do, but to see more deeply what is actually real.
As human beings, we have the opportunity to play in being human and in this play, very naturally we get lost. We imagine things that aren’t really there. We believe things that are impossible. We get lost and confused and then something within the being longs to return home.
Home to what? What is true. In every quality of all things spiritual as it relates to wholeness, love, peace, joy, everything that our being craves. All of these expressions are expressions of the truth. That when you see the truth of life, the truth of what you are, what follows is some expression of love.
And, so in this is an invitation to surrender any movement inside of yourself that adds a burden to your experience that says you must do something. And, even if it’s just for these moments together, be open to the possibility that it’s already done.
In the same way that as we sit in this space, we can recognize a peace. We can recognize a spaciousness that allows us to breathe more fully. And, do you recognize that this quality of presence, of right now, is actually always here?
Even as you go for a walk, even as you drive your car, this quality of presence that you can sense right now is actually always present. And do you see that when we don’t feel connected to it, we’re lost in our imagination? We’re lost in what we think to be real, where we’re going, what we think is happening, what we’re afraid of. None of which is actually happening in now.
There’s a willingness to let go of what’s not real, and in that willingness, one begins to breathe, and in that breath, we connect with the present.
And whatever your spiritual insight, whatever the profound nature of your discovery, in some way or another, you can be assured that the discovery says, “Oh, it’s not what I thought it was”. The discovery is, “I thought something that was true that wasn’t really true”.
And this is really good news to whatever degree you might be able to sense it or taste it or touch it, but it points to a discovery that if there is any tension inside of you, if there is any perceived lack of love, joy, wellness, then there is an innocent misunderstanding about what’s real. And for me, my heart says, “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
And the more we rest in such a space of investigation as this, as one gathers experience in life with an open heart, what you begin to see more and more clearly is that you cannot trust the mind’s content. To trust the mind’s content takes you away from presence.
Notice this – how many times you thought you knew something that brought you into a space of anxiety, worry, and fear, to really believe what the mind was saying only to find out it wasn’t true. Not to offer judgment toward the mind, but just to see the reality of the situation that the mind only thinks it knows.
And, this is where we offer ourselves to the truth rather than chasing mental content. We say, “Oh, yeah… the truth is not in the mind. I will not connect to what I am in the mind. I must surrender what is in the mind”, which is simply an expression that says, “I don’t really know,” [inaudible] the mind can’t really figure this out.
    And in the release, y

  • CMSM – The Dream of Being Human
Podcast Show NotesFocus: See Beyond the Dream of Being Human.
Summary: Need something to encourage you? To allow yourself to release your anxieties? To give you a moment to step back and simply free your mind? This meditation invites you to let go of what’s holding you back – the projections of your mind, the illusions you believe and the noises that disturb you. Thoughts encapsulate the mind, making you forget what is real – that nothing is happening. So, in this episode, you are invited to gently let go. Allow yourself to return to a blank canvass where thoughts are only temporary strokes, they can’t mar the canvass permanently.  Return to the moment and gift yourself the recognition that there is nothing to worry, fear or feel inadequate about. Recognize, that all is well. Release judgement and acknowledge what is natural. Allow this meditative exploration to guide you home and remind of one of life’s most precious designs – you.
Format: silence, guided meditation, insights about the topic, dialogue and answer questions,
(Meditation)Take these moments to allow ourselves to connect with right now.
(Moment of silence)To ground in with the presence of this moment, let us extend an allowing for all that is, to be all that is.
Take in sensations, movement of thought and feelings.
The great letting go is laying down movement to control, surrendering these is recognizing our breath.
Recognize there is a breath. Beyond effort, breath moves. It is done and given to you to prove your being. Breath is a manifestation of something rising and falling. The inhale and exhale. It is not our doing that does it, not ours to control, so we just let go.
Surrender to the silence from all the noise. Recognize that something in you, all is well. Even if your mind wonders, recognize that all is well.
Within you is a capacity of awareness.
Awareness is awakeness coming before everything. Awakeness is to a dream that is projected. Silence is to a sound formed. Stillness is to a world trapped in a reality not truly there.
Meditation is an invitation to come home to this awakeness, this space before all things.
It is an invitation to gently let go of what is not.
It is to connect with your inner light. It so bright with no distinct color and form. It allows all color resembling a blank canvass. It is a wellness that washes all color. It is a blank canvass for any painting and colors.
Painting is a projection on the canvass but it is not a permanent display and the canvass is also untouched by projection. Whatever dreams you have, it doesn’t touch the canvass. You can return to stillness. It is the great space of rest to remember what is true.
    Let dream be the dream.
Come home and connect to the source of all, untouched by dream.
End of guided meditationStart of.. the ramble / spiritual musings
Let’s explore the nature of dream in the spiritual context. We have moments of peace and then the mind is captured by a thought pattern. It is important to recognize the capacity of the mind to mistake its content. Nothing is happening. What is real? Return to this moment. Presence of now is a vast landscape of emptiness. Be more intimate in now, recognize that there is nothing to fear, all is well. Now you have everything, nothing is amiss. Dream state of being human is problematic when captured by mind’s movement. Thoughts project away from now. They are not actually here.
How many times while dreaming you thought it was real? How convinced were you in it? Dream state while sleeping is a reflection of the dream state of you as awake in the spiritual context. Realness of you is still there when you are sleeping. While dreaming it doesn’t touch what is there. Similar to being awake, while dreaming that time, realness is untouched by your dreams while awake. In this moment, none matters. Nothing to
